Great to see some witty chatter here again. For the record, the official spellun is kaputt. TFI.
Weather in these is parts is in the 80's, sunny, blue skies. '"The kind of weather Florida is famous for".

Lynt, go for the vacation! I feel for you on the loss of the washer/dryer. Feels like such a waste of money to me when that happens.

2 more days in Hades until I go to be bored out of skull in semi-retirement.
I think i prefer boredom to knots in my stomach though, so its ok. I can always surf the Dis, its not blocked at work.

I need to find boxes for moving. So much junk you gather in 38 years... I think I'll get hubby to help me with his pick-up from work to move it.

LOVED reading the frenze today! Bucketnurse . . . Snow White and the Seven Dorks? Bwahahaha! That might even be enough to attract WT

bbn - You should see if they can add kettlebell classes at your gym! I posted my trainer's web site which includes a couple cool kettlebell videos and other assorted photos, but then thought the better of it (since this IS a family friendly discussion forum after all) and edited it out because some of the people I work with were offended by his bodybuilding pics. Ahem. PM me if you'd like the link!

Twink/bbn/et al - livefitrevolution.com has free kettlebell workout videos done by a former Biggest Loser contestant's (Shay Sorrells) personal trainer (Alysia Gadson). The only investment would be the cost of a kettlebell(s) and your own personal motivation. That's how I got interested in it . . .

Hi Moo!

Just had a busy day. Then Wed. is a full tv night. Hannah and I watch Top Model, record Survivor and am now watching Hell's Kitchen.

I was out looking for a birthday gift for my niece and a baby gift for another niece. I love baby shopping , almost makes you want another one. Almost...:lmao:

Hopefully I will see the new baby this weekend. Wasn't going to go home for Thanksgiving because hubby has to work but he told me to go with the kids. He will be working all day anyway.

Yeah, TV night here too, Nabbie!

Glad to hear you're going to see your family for Thanksgiving. Hubby and I will be going down to NC to spend Thanksgiving with our daughter. I can't wait!!! It'll be nice to see her plus it should be warmer down there :sunny:

Did you see that Sam and Stephanie from BL just got engaged?!

I have turned into a lame duck at work. I dont give a damn about any issues. Not my problem anymore. Luckily tomorrow is my last day there, and I need to pack my stuff, but probably wont move it till next week.

I wish I could concentrate on TV shows, but I cant, it's a curse I tell you!

1. YES, Lynette should plan a trip. And I think you will be very happy with your new washing machines. My mom's newish one is awesome.

2. Just a few more days until the Twinkies et al return to WDW!!!!! I am so excited. Princess NoNaps is also Princess High Fever For No Good Reason (proabably teeth)... she has been miserable lately so I haven't had time to make hairbows and laminated agendas and whatnot.

1. Thank you for that affirmation...it's JUST what I wanted! I am sure I will be very happy with my new washing machines. It's the spending of the money to purchase said machines which will render me less than happy, I'm thinking.

2. I think you had better rethink that last statement, because I'm pretty sure there's ALWAYS time for whatnot. Just saying.

1. Lynt: I remember the yodeling cat. But don't try to pretend you don't have 103 other cats hidden away in your basement. Don't try to pull the wool over this gal's eyes. Got it?

2. ALSO, please plan a trip next year. I am planning a trip next year. The dh says "whatever you think we can afford" *sigh* He knows the good lil banker in me will do just that, but I still plan to afford a trip. So there.

3. ALSO, I want to swim with the dolphins at Discovery Cove. It is on my bucket list. Everyone please feel free to give to the imaginary "Help bbn swim with the dolphins" fund. Tia

4. Nab: I am so over winter and it hasn't even started. I fear I shall be quite miserable until 80 degree weather returns.

1. Nope, no more cats. But we do have a loverly (?) selection of foxes running around our woods these days. They are furry like cats, but decidedly less cuddly. Also, so far none of them has demonstrated the ability to yodel. Plus, if I were the owner of 103 cats (in the basement or otherwise), I guess I'd be trying to pull cat fur over your eyes instead of wool. So there.

2. Hmm...shall we meet again next summer? I like that idea! As I posted yesterpage, my DH's first instinct will be to say no. But that's what he said the last 3 times I suggested a trip to the World. Heh.

3. Is that contribution tax-deductible? :scratchin

4. I will be miserable right alongside you, Nursey! The weather here went from warm and muggy to freezing cold and damp..no transition! I want summer back!

: Anyway, all y'all plan away for NEXT year because I am going THIS year. Copy cats. Posers and Losers. Or was that Losers and Slackers?

I just had a yard sell. To fund my own disney dreams of MNSSHP. We have met our goal plus 11ish dollars. And still have a garage full of junk. I could fedex the junk to YOU and you could sell at your garage sale. Or stable sale or whatever it is that cowpeople have.

Yes, but WE already went THIS year, darlin'. Please refer to the photographic evidence over yonder. Or ask the waitstaff at Whispering Canyon, where I'm sure the emotional scars from our Grand Dinnerpalooza are still healing.

Do cowpeople have stable sales? Or just barn raisings? But not barn raisins...unless the raisins are chocolate covered. But I'd rather have a peanut butter cup...I just don't think I'd buy one at a yard sale. Got that?

Me again.

That last post was getting unwieldy, so I figured I'd split up my dreck and drivel into 2 scintillating posts. You're welcome.

Marita, congrats on the new job! Seems like deja vu all over again, doesn't it? I hope you like this new job...maybe a little boredom will be good for you -- less stressful!

Moo, are you posting "fresh" links on the DIS? ;)

NAB, yay for Thanksgiving! I can't wait for ours! Whatcha making? popcorn::

Twinkie - Who gets to be Snow White?

Marita
- How are you liking this weather? I LOVE it. I've had my windows open all week, with only have to close them and turn on the AC in the afternoon when it gets too warm. Yesterday I was able to keep it open ALL day, even though it did get up to 82 in the house in the mid afternoon. I love the fresh air and hearing the birds outside.

Nine days until Isaac and his twin brother from another Mother meet again!

Mommy P-- lucky you to be able to meet up.

Lynette-- That is the beauty , I am going home so I don't have to cook the turkey etc. I wll help peel potatoes etc and us girls do the major clean up after. Plus I think I will be getting to the party late but can stay over night so won't miss too much in catching up with everyone. Including that new baby girl.

Speaking of baby girl I bought some really cute blanket sleepers from Caters today. To many cute things to pick from I tell you.

Baseball try outs again tonight. Early dinner again.

3. I'm sure it is.

4. And for this I love you

Wow. That's so awesome that you get to meet Twink! Wish I could someday.:rolleyes1:upsidedow

MP, yep, loving this weather. High in mid 80's, low in the 70's or so, blue sky and sunny. "The kind of weather Florida is famous for". But I really dont see any of it in that concrete bunker I am in now (or was). I think I'll have time to take some strolls along the lovely Sassagoula River coming up though.
Sorrry for all you northerners, but I've been through my hell of sweltering and melting, your turn to suffer now.

I packed up all my stuff this afternoon, and its sitting in boxes in my office. Gotta get hubby to meet me with his work pickup next week to get it moved, i wont fit in my car. I have more candy than a candy store! I wonder where it all came from? I barely eat any:confused3

Tomorrow I have a day off, and start new job on Monday. My new boss' calendar looks pretty empty (and his boss' too). Hmmm? I might be more bored than I thought.....

1. Fox in sox?

2. yes. duh.

3. I'm sure it is.

4. And for this I love you

1. Um. No. Also, not cats in hats.

2. OKO! A spectacular idea, if ever you've had one! Text me or sumpn and let's talk details. You KNOW how I love to plan!

3. Did your nose just grow a scoche? :rolleyes1

4. Yes, this and sooooo much more, right? RIGHT?!?

In other news, the DH and I have a wedding to attend this weekend. Unfortunately, none of the dresses I currently own are calling out to me, so I am on the hunt for a new one. I have been to Nordstrom, Lord & Taylor, Macy's and 2 local boutique-y places, and so far my options are Golden-Girls-Chic or B00btastic Hoochie-Mama. Not liking either of those too much.

Moo, are you posting "fresh" links on the DIS? ;)
Only for a few minutes! I swear!!!

Golden-Girls-Chic or B00btastic Hoochie-Mama . . . :lmao: I am SO glad I don't have a formal event to attend any time soon.

Right now, I'm have a terrible time finding a jacket that works.

MommyP and Twink - Yay for your upcoming meet :goodvibes

We really need to work on finding a date for a MOOvers meet.

Marita - We're having some decent weather here lately too. High 60s/low 70s. I'm going up north for the weekend after all tomorrow. w00t!

BabyN - This is actually my second time seeing Twink. :cool2:

Marita - I missed that you got a new job? What are you doing to be doing now? Where will you be?

Cleaned the house this morning(along with school). This afternoon I'm dropping the littles off at my Mom's for naps and my big boys and brother are going on a hike. Can't wait! I think my sudden and unexplained for weight gain is because I was getting ready to ovulate.(so Chad is banished from the house for a few. ;o) ) So yay I was back down almost to my regular weight this morning. I'm going to mark it on the calendar and see if it happens again next month. I was also SO tired the other night I felt pregnant. But knew I wasn't.

I need to go work my abs out before my hike.

Going to the BEACH tomorrow!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

MP, Im moving to Port Orleans. Still doing Finance stuff but in a less stressful role.

Had a vacation day today, yay! I was my typical couch potatoe self, didnt do much of anything besides sleep and work stuff.

Spent over an hour with IT issues to access some work files. I had to uninstall IE8 and reinstall IE7 to run reports. Lost some links in the process, including the link to my cruise meet site
I'll see if I can find it tomorrow.

so sorry nabby, in not being precise in our plans, as deed-tails,
i have found over the years are bothersome & only worth mentioning
when i want my lil'cutie ,to get my points. needless to say, it is best
letting her to do all our planning. :)

...dec., is when we are going "home" for the first time. ha! "going home",
is dvc talk. this was just to test the waters.

in general, we just passed " back to the future" date. funny , i can't
seem to find where i misplaced my hoover board. also the "terminators"
....saw a history channel special that has some really scary implications.
[ had to think about the references they were applying] . while back
to the future remains a fairytale, darn if our scientists are putting forth
real, super, metal, robot functions that can kill human beings. and they
are working to program them with recognizing human emotions. why?
so these machines can interpret "hostile" intent & destroy.

ok? see any potential problems? to our own self destruction? first, these
great-:rolleyes1 scientists, only think they know human dynamics. they
do not! ...making their creations with processors, in reality, are very easy
to misread & "reap" [ grim isn't it?-ha] death, to those they were designed
to protect. idiots @ work? :headache:. * problem number one, our facial
expressions have the potential to cover a "range" of feelings including
"acting". ( before they can begin to understand what they're messing
with, they would need to spend time on our unit.)

....fyi, i read alot from "time mag." on who they "think" are/were the
greatest minds on earth. oh. so much they are missing. * remember? my
most trusted intervention for producing the desired outcomes/results....
reality orientation? most of us learn thru mistakes, & that the "things" we
think , are not always in "reality". more significant, just because
we can think something- does not mean when we have enough
power..or good senses , to manipulate or control , once we invent
or produce it.

from my life experiences, it is of my "strongest" opinion...mankind has
a this tendency to over-rate their abilities- due to ongoing insecurities
& where their hatred begin to breathe & breeds. [ along the lines, if you
don't think like me, then i am smarter/better than you...therefore, i
am more valuable, & since there isn't enough room for the both of us,
you have to be eliminated--thinking. ]

yes, yes, i recognize computers can process our facial expressions
& read them as "hostiles". to kill. but as i travel thru life, & especially
work.....i realized some of the most "common senses" we possessed;
also are easily mixed up with those "running" side by side. unless
these machines can separate our emotional responses to their
intended/individuals meanings---plus
all the changes they can "do it", sponateously or mixed [ fear/anger/
fight/ posed or flight ] , if they "turned on-or lose", may process us
as the real threats.

science fiction , eh? ha!........watch the program. they were alot
closer to reality then they should be. and i saw enough, to recognize,
these great minds....really don't understand the human dynamics they
are tinkering with. for all our sakes, it should be mandatory, that
these machines ,with devices to kill human beings, have easy, simple
instructions that can shut this awful power off.

as for true power, the more i live life, the more impress i become,
that God is great. i am very humble in the wonder & the designs
we are all, given. "now i know ", i am leaving out the deed~tails, but we
all have been given many, many special gifts in life. in life, i have
learn the most precious gift is "time on earth".

*disclaimer:
oh, just because, i get to "practice" many of the dynamics "we" are
operating from in my work, in no way make me any more successful then
anyone else. believe me...i am very [ as my lil'sweetie like to point out]
faulted..and quite capable of making my own mistakes. but what i didn't
know, in the begining, just having the"will" to try something different or
new ...allows one to overcome.
[ two of the skills we are able to chose from, are problem solving &
corrective measures.] oh, machines cannot be produce to do a lil'
thing call "reasoning". nor can they reproduced, just build. understanding
the differences,i think is some of the "critical thinking" needed to keep
man from inventing our destruction. [ positive over negative outcomes]

the staff i work with are relying on some of the human dynamics i
have been sharing here. [ also alot of the gracious insights, you all
share among yourselves- are not only impressive but very helpful to those
in need]. tonight, it dawn on me, when we get in someone "in", pending
crises..they come & get me. & "you know" what i using, are the same
things, repeated over & over. but what you may not know..i am still
truly amazed..of the desired outcomes, over & over . those results,
give us all hope. :flower3:

i think, just because we have been trusted with these emotions/abilities
to comphrend/enrich our life, is not the same as "permission", to do
whatever we can think of. & the day machines start killing humans ,
except by accidents, will be a scary, scary day/nightmare.

these machines & adding processors to "minic" our real emotions,
are dangerous to our ongoing existence. danger, wil robinson!, only
human beings can actual care - about life and others. no
machines can duplicate, or mastered the complex ranges that human
beings go thru just to make a single choice. when we "think" they can,
hints toward creating our own destruction. maybe we need to re-think
"what" we should produce, & with the goal- aiming @ preserving life
instead of taking it away?

gosh, guys...i have learned some very blessed things. not by my own
doings. instead, from those that were very caring toward me when
i was growing up. for example, my old paperboy route, and all the dear
souls ...that gave me so much. psst, this is one reason how i have learned
to appreciate our "disney experiences" . sure it isn't prefect . but if
one thinks long enough, thats part of the charm. a gatherin place
for human beings, seeking the good things their families can be.:grouphug:

so with that thought, i really don't think inventing machines to kill
human beings , is genius work, or even impressive. progress? at
best, in the wrong direction....maybe, just maybe, they should
look @ getting back to the future?

ever notice, i talk alot?

wow! mp, :thumbsup2...what a doll baby you have! but oh~ie, boy!it
is so evident, she has alot of you in her! [ all good!] :yay:

your picture reminded me, of our days go by. my lil'baby...is growing
up!, oh, my!...this last trip & pictures.....she radiated her mother's
beauty.. i don't deserved such a wonderful blessing. X3.
...on the ship, cinderlla commented to jordan, "you should be one of
us." in reality, she ain't kidding! even though she has donated her
hair....several times, she still has the hair, that would rival ariel. i see
these pictures..with the "disney girls"...she has no makeup on,
no wigs, no fancy clothes...and yet, she demonstrating the princess looks.
[ then i look in the mirrow, wow! ..can't be from me, but
true! ].

oh, the criminal? let' me put it this way..they are selling & moving away.
..it sorts demonstrate why the "truth will set you free." ;) especially
when it is used as reality intervention. i spent the last 25 years turning
our property into a wildness wonderland. boy! did he ever underrated
our resolve. fyi, many of the local farmers know him & his brother. as
big drug growers. and we have this big meadow in the middle of our
woods. ha! there won't be any weeds growing there! funny weeds.

moo? big game today? i just think the big ten conference is the best.
...the big ten channel , focusing/promoting student activities from
all the universities, is what i like to see the other conferences do!
supporting communities & developing our future leaders for an
ever changing world....is an important mission. have you seen any of
the big ten icons show? kind of ironic?---the michigan 's #1 icon,
is from ohio? :rolleyes1. however, you do know the quarterback
that won the last national champ. was from michigan? :cheer2:

...anyone keeping in touch with utahma? hope she doing ok, :goodvibes

hi! baby nurse....ha! i can retire anytime, :yay:

How come they say 10-10-10 is suppose to be the perfect day when I wake up to frost!

Now I know why there is a wedding at our church today. Never heard anywone getting married in a Catholic church on a Sunday. But a Chinese couple is , it is suppose to be a very lucky day because of the date.

Hope I have luck witht the traffic today going home for Thanksgiving. Leaving right after church. The kids have to serve today or I would have went yesterday.

The weather has been so nice the last few days. Hope it sticks around.

Hope everyone has perfect Sunday!

morning everyone..
YES IT IS STINKING COLD......but I threw on another comforter and the doggie snuggled up close to me.. I did have to get up at sixish to let her out and feed her...that is what my hubby usually does on the weekends........SO I am the sub hub....hahaha........I did okey last night......as long as the dog didnt growl and make me paranoid......we did fine....I will be happy when this LAST moose hunt is over with.....I dont care how much meat is there....

Last night my son and his wife and two munchkins took me out to Margaritas for supper..It was fun being with the family.
O, my 6 year old grandson was reading his menu and when the sweet waitress asked what he would like he read it off to her...and also said he wanted the extra soft taco for an extra 99 cents...we laughed our heads off.......cause she asked if he wanted a hard shell or soft shell.....he said .." I said I would like the soft shell please.."
today will be my quiet silent cleaning day.....I am staying in.....last moose hunt people must of felt sorry for me because I was busy from saturday to Thursday night.....every night......
have a great day everyone
