LJ- Yes I took some pictures. Norah's first time on Space Mtn...her face was so funny! Riley's first time on the Maliboomer (one of those rides that shoots you straight up and drop you repeatedly rides) He totally loved it. We only had a few hours at CA Adventure so we couldn't ride anything twice (or more). Except for Soarin' which we rode twice. I was so sad the second time knowing it'd be a while before I could ride it again.

My neck and shoulders are so sore from sitting in the car for 10 hours twice. Plus, I truly need a good sleep!

Hi Moovers! Just back from WDW with the hags! It was a GREAT time.

We stayed at AKV concierge, in a 2 BR. It was really nice! My clan could never afford it on our own, that's for sure!

I gained back 8 pounds this week. I'm back on South Beach today though!

Hope you're feeling bettter. Did you ever play the game where you and another person had a bunch of faces in front of you and you had to guess which one they picked by asking "Is it a male? do they have glasses? are they wearing a hat? etc?" It was fun! Me and my sister played it al lthe time.

Y'all will need to know this later in life for PJ trivia but that is among my top 5 favorite songs. Certain bbn's play it on the piano pretty darn goog if anyone was wondering.

I am on the mend seeing as how I have strep throat (NO ONE guessed that) and am taking my medicine. The doctor told me I didn't when I initially went and then he called me back the next morning and these were his words: "well, it sounds like you just kicked the flu, but now you have strep throat." !!!! How sucky is that??? I have asked my roommates to refer to me as Job from now on. For some reason they're not.

In other news, my grandma was moved out of the ICU last night and back onto the regular floor. The goal is to get her into a nursing home by the end of this week.

Nab- the key to Canada you gave me is still hanging off of my pin trading lanyard. I thought of you this weekend I only did one pin trade. Takes too much time and we had to hussle. Did all our favorites of DL in one day and CA in 3 hours. Wooot!

Pumba- I'm so sick of snow too. It was so nice to be in sunny California (70's!).

Marita....So glad your mom's surgery went well. Hey...have you heard from nebo and smidgy this round? Are they job hunting or what?

Lexi, spinach dip is still unopened and ready for the partay!! No pressure cooker skills needed for your catering.

I have not heard from Nebo and Smidgy. I think they are looking more for potential areas to live, and not jobs right now. They should be back soon, I think.

(not for me, I'd get too sea sick!!) really, I was in Jamaica with dh on a ship glass bottom boat, I finally said I have to get off this boat, and the capn thought I was kidding, but he said sure I could jump and swim to shore - so I did!! DH said the look on everyone's face was priceless, horror, shock -- but he said not to worry, I was a long distant swimmer (hey, it was less than a mile away!!) Jet skis are ok, boats, ships, no thank you!!!!

Sandy, , I could NEVER jump out of a boat and swim to shore. I can just imagine people's disbelief, LOL

Jesus was probably proud of my son this weekend. I came home and his homework was on the table. Evidently he did homework instead of any shinanigans. He did his laundry and dishes without flooding the house or blowing anything up. My work here is nearly done. Time to cut the apron strings pretty soon.

Yay to no parties, exlosions and fires. Glad you had a great time!!

Ll'G,why do I need a pet???? I have a ferret, a dog, and a cat (all thanks to kids who just HAD to have them, and then moved away,leaving them with us). I also lived through a bird, a snake and a a couple of turtles. I am DONE with pets!!!!!!!!!!

have not heard how mom is doing today, I assume ok. 6 hour time difference just makes it hard to communicate during the week.

I got something in work email this afternoon, some rush-rush stuff that I need other people's input for by 2 pm tomorrow. Got some emails sent, then went to wash my face with hot water and soap (love washing the grime off around 6. So I got the hot water running, then grabbed the toothpaste, unscrewed the cap and went to put some in my hand. Luckily I caught that this was just not feeling right just in time, LOL. I guess I was a bit distracted.

Are your dates set in stone? I'm working on being able to visit WDW for a couple days after Mari's graduation. It might be more doable if you could stay a tad longer

Our paper was all about the CRUISE!! Guess it was meant to be!! (not for me, I'd get too sea sick!!) really, I was in Jamaica with dh on a ship glass bottom boat, I finally said I have to get off this boat, and the capn thought I was kidding, but he said sure I could jump and swim to shore - so I did!! DH said the look on everyone's face was priceless, horror, shock -- but he said not to worry, I was a long distant swimmer (hey, it was less than a mile away!!) Jet skis are ok, boats, ships, no thank you!!

I was really proud of myself. It was a two mile race, and I wanted to actually run all of it. I wasn't able to, but ran the majority of it. I finished in 23:25. I wasn't last in the race or my age group, so that is a success in my book. It was a lot of fun and the weather was beautiful. I was actually able to run in shorts. I ran with my friend from church and her seven year old son. Well, they blew me away. He finished SIX minutes before me, and about 10 seconds in front of his mom!

Cel, I'm still trying to see if my sister's roommate is going to commit to going to the graduation. She and my sister want to visit some friends in the Tampa area if they both go, so I'm thinking I might be able to talk them into at least a day or two of Disney and a ride down there from NC! I'm having dinner with my sister next Wednesday night, so I'll work on her some more. They stayed at the Contemporary last year, so I need to convince them that it can still be a fun trip staying at a value resort And MUCH cheaper!!!

I'm pretty sure Mari is going to be too busy to go for a short trip to WDW after graduation, so I'm thinking I'll try to talk Don into helping her move and making that a father/daughter trip (so I'm free to do my own thing). She says nefariously . . .

I'm in for a May and a 2010 meet

My cat is missing! She is old, (not ancient) but very spry, jumps everywhere in an effort to break my legs. She used to be an outdoor cat, but the last few years she only went outside when the dog went outside (her best buddy) and raced back in when the dog came back. Hubby noticed her missing tonight.

I am pretty sure she was home this morning (as she annoyed my by trying to drink out of the glass of water I keep by my bed and I had to move it) and went out with the dog. But now is nowhere to be found

Okay, let's see if I can get a suck factor of 10....not quite boils, but hives!!!! Yes, hives and the inability to breathe are what tipped me off to call the doctor. Brilliant move on my part, I know. Thought of that one all on my own. Something about the not breathing seemed urgent. Anyway, the short version is I'm allergic to the medicine they give you to treat strep throat. Who knew? I just chose to be allergic to it because as it turns out the bbn is allergic to it too and we thought that would be cute. Wouldn't y'all agree? We will now be trying an alternative medication. The saga continues....

I didn't make it to class either. How is everyone else tonight?

Oh, and.....IT'S SNOWING!!!!!!!!!! It looks so pretty.

I posted earlier that I had not heard how my mom is doing today because of difficulties with the 6 hour time difference during the week.
