GOOG MORNING!
Although it is not sunny...actually it's 27 and raining. But. On the up side....there's NO SCHOOL!
There wasn't going to be school for Mimi and Em anyway. Mimi stayed home yesterday and I got her a 1ish appt at the dr. Then Em calls from school about 12 and says she needs to come home so I just took them both. They swabbed Mimi for flu and Em for step....both negative. The dr. says there is a nasty respiratory virus going around that looks like the flu. So we are treating symptomatically....Mucinex D and I threw in a Benadryl last night to get the lil darlins to sleep.
PJ....I can tell you're feeling better!

I saw they were predicting 4-8 inches of snow for Covington/Cincy. Did you get that much? And...What are you allergic to? I'm allergic to penicillin and DD is allergic to Ceclor. RE: grandma...did she get to have her surgery?
Cy...Locked in your room to get away from the mean ole teenagers? My oldest is 18 and spends waaaaay more time with the boyfriend that with us. I have to *schedule* a home cooked meal to lure them in. (You gotta have the boyfriend too or it's a no-go!) Now DD has decided she wants to be vegetarian so I'm going to have to look into my homecooked vegetarian cookbook.

DD14 is always here but tends to complain about any food that is readily available at home. She prefers that I pay $7 for a turkey sandwich from Subway than go to the store and BUY $7 worth of turkey sub ingredients so she can eat for a week! Coffee at home??? NO WAY! Starbucks is just down the street! Thank goodness for DS7. He still loves his momma.
Lynette....The Other Boleyn Girl is pretty good so far. Anne Boleyn is the sneeky, plotting sister and Mary is the innocent, in-love-with-Henry sister...and we all know how this comes out. I love period pieces but it's not as compelling as the teenage vampire novel. (I can't believe I just typed that.) Re: Spiderwick....the movie web site is great. DS has been playing on it for a coupla days.
Celery....I am HOOKED on driving around Disney! We used the car a LOT last trip. It's especially convenient for driving to DTD and the water parks. Also we like to eat at the resorts and it's a quick drive to get there. We even ate at the Poly then went to the MK and then took the monorail back at the end of the night.....sweet. The only thing about driving is that it takes 2 days off the trip. And I hate driving the whole way myself...like last time. But I also hate flying. ACK!
Sandy....You're right...I've been trolling the transportation board for tips on renting a car. You can stack discount codes at National. I remember ZZUB posting a picture of a PT cruiser he got for $150/wk with codes from Mousesavers. $150 is worth it.
Marita....Toothpaste!?

Now surely your cat will come back when she gets hungry. Our cat adored the dog (God rest her soul) and she is sorta lost without her buddy.
Wendee....I may be available for a 2010 trip. Here is my secret plan... this year I take Emily for
free dining. Next year I take DS on a cheap vacation with no dining...just me/him/jar of peanut butter and some crackers. Then of course I have to take Mimi on her own vacation. But. My goals are to somehow work in the Flower & Garden show (probably in early May with Mimi since she'll be out of school before the other kids) and the Christmas lights (probably with DS before he outgrows me.) I'll need a lil economic stimulation plan EVERY year for all those trips to happen.
I'm sure there were lots more lengthy replies I wanted to make but I can't think of them just now.
EVERYBODY....

(Where've you all been???)
HERE'S HOPING YOU ALL HAVE A WONDERFUL, FREEZING-RAIN-FREE DAY!
