I wish I could my tired fixed too, unfortunately, it was only a tire that tangled with a nail (see, not getting nails done results in typos). That's my excuse and I am sticking with it! (nails are a theme here, hmmmmmmmmmm)

The only reason I made another beef stew was because DH bought stew meat and it was needing to be cooked soonishly, so I slaved in the kitchen for hours ........ and it turned out just great!DD called on her way home from her Lacrosse game and said "why are you cooking something only YOU like?" Well, DH lkes it too, and they usually eat rabbit food which I dont eat. Fend for yourself DD, you are an adult

Gotta hitt the shower, and then go for a nap to get my "tired" fixed

I read the "I Hate Snow" thread earlier today to see if Pumba had posted there

for supper........I just finished sauteeing green peppers and onions with some red hot pepper flakes and cumin seeds too......then put in a lb of burger and slowly cooking some italian sausges .......I will let them all meet in a bit and then throw in a can of tomatoes....slowly simmer the combination of stuff and then WHAMOOOOOOOOOo......I will eat it....wonder if I can taste it......my taste buds are always the first to go in a cold.......

If that doesn't get through to your taste buds, I don't know what will, Marie! That hot pepper ought to get your sinuses flowing, if nothing else. Mucinex, Schmucinex!!!!!!!!

Okey......I have to admit this was dang goog.........I mean it.....the spices were just enough to make the SAP FLOW........it was delicious......I could taste it all and hubby said.......WOW........you actually got the right combo in the spices to make it just a little hot but not enough to burn the roof of your mouth......
Just heard from GD and she made it back to campus and beat the storm that is blowing hard here.......I heard a noise early and went on the back porch and the trees out back were almost laying over......I hate this you know!!

Someone is giving away a Space Mountain rocket on Craigslist. I already sent an e-mail begging for him to pick me. I haven't heard anything. Who know's if it's for reals. The picture shows someone sitting in the rocket, like it's at WDW still.

Currently, they have a Horizons ride car listed for sale on there. However, based on the going price, I doubt if anyone really has a piece of SM they'd give it away for free . . .

Hello, MOOvers! Hope everyone's weekend was great.

Minimal bum-laying time here has left me really tired and a bit cranky. Spent the afternoon making 2 kinds of soup, pot roast, and roasted vegetables, along with cinnamon cake for dessert. Also put a sizeable dent in my ever-growing pile of laundry. While I was doing my whirling dervish imitation, DH and the kids were lounging, reading, watching TV, etc. I felt like Cinderella (pre-Fairy Godmother).

The stinking weather isn't helping. MORE snow here this weekend! Pumba, want to head south with me? I don't know how much more I can take!

I need a vacation!

PS: I have not been on a real vacation in 15 years. Always visiting Mom, or hosting her or getting the house ready for visitors or something like that. Can I go on vacation with you, L????????????

oh oh oh, I just had ths great thought!

You know that lovely tax rebate we are supposed to get? (Should be $1,500 for me) to stimulate the economy? And people say the will use it to pay bills? (and then probably wont?). I think I will use it for a cruise Dh and I and the kids (adults) in a cabin, such fun. I might have to spring for luxury though, a suite. DS went on a cruise in the fall, and said it was the only way to go, his buddies were in some dump below deck. Except I never questioned him exactly what he meant by "suite". I KNOW I will need a balcony. Hmm, I might turn into an obsessive Disney planner myself, and I only have a few months.

Nabbie, LilG, any tips?

Oh dang, I forgot, you cant get discount for the balcony rooms, I think! More research is needed. Or a cheaper cruise!
