Monsters, Inc. May - move like Roz is watching challenge

Looks at those awesome colors on Page 1 :rainbow: I love how many different things people are doing to get their minutes in this month. :cool2:

Another 60 minutes with running group brings me to 940/1000 :yay: Thursday's run will be me in WISH lime green territory just in time for my race! :cool1:

Congrats to SarahDisney for being our first Roz Red member. :thumbsup2

Linda, you can get some awesome pace per mile reading when you forget to turn off your device and drive around for awhile. :rotfl:

So, I went running today ... 89 minutes total.

Puts me at ...

931/930

What??? I still can't believe it! I thought I'd struggle to reach goal, and I actually made it over my goal 11 days early! I definitely couldn't have done it without the support & encouragement of everyone here (especially our awesome hostess hmack), so thank you!

"Hills! Why did it have to be hills?!"

Running in western pa I feel your pain. We have a 10k race here that is a steady climb for mile 5. It's truly exhausting. And its straight and parallel to the river so its always HOT. Way to show those hills whose boss! Wildwood is one of the halfs id like to do someday. My family went to the beach there annually when I was little and we are taking my son this year for the first time. It's not Disney so they sorta had to drag me to it, but I'm excited too.

That race sounds painful! I've never been to Wildwood but I have a bunch of friends who have done the half there and it looks like a nice race. Next year?!

Did 5km in 33 minutes! Seven minutes off the last one!

Including cool down and stretching, 40 minutes

890/1200

Wow! Way to improve your pace! :worship:

Way to go SarahDisney! (hmack really is a great supporter).

Yesterday I went out for a late run. I guess I should sign up for more races because I felt great and had a great pace. 44 minutes running + 10 minutes cooldown
This morning I did 20 minutes strength training.

Now I'm at 870/1500

Happy Wednesday everyone!

Did you know that yesterday we reported in over ONE THOUSAND minutes of exercise? (1,206 to be exact, which equals 20.1 HOURS!) and if you reported in yesterday, you were a part of that.

And, if you report in today, you'll be a part of whatever today's awesome total is. Isn't that cool? Every day on this thread (and every month there's a new oneto join!) we have a chance to be part of a movement. I think that's pretty neat.

You know what else is neat? One of our teammates crossed the finish line and met her goal! Yesterday, was a mighty good day indeed.

Congratulations to our color changers (and I have a feeling there is going to be a bunch tomorrow because we have some folks ttthhhiiiiiisss close to going up to the next level!)

SarahDisney

Have a lovely day everyone. I have an eye doctor's appointment this morning and I'm hoping to get new frames. I personally think I could rock the Roz look, some lovely black cat-eye glasses with a beaded chain. What do you think?

True Story: I was getting down for not being close to my 100% because my brain is so used to Memorial Day being the very end of the month. I just had a "DUH" moment when I looked at my calendar and there is a whole other week left AFTER Memorial Day. One in which I have at least three runs planned.

So my advise for myself is not to feel sorry for myself BEFORE having my morning coffee. :surfweb:

Good job SarahDisney!!
1201/1500 for me. That's a class at the Y (cut a few minutes short because someone just got back from a trip and he brought fudge!--I didn't take any) and then a walk this morning. It's our short walk day and our short-legged people ;) weren't there. That means I was left with my tall very fast walking friend. I love it but it definitely cuts a couple minutes off! :upsidedow
