Monorail travel time - CR to EPCOT?

I'm working on my Dec schedule and am having travel time difficulties. We are value people who will be staying at BLT. How long does it usually take to get from the CR to EPCOT? How about EPCOT to CR? Not sure how much time it adds to do the rest of the loop.

The easiest answer: it depends

From BLT, you go one stop on the monorail to the transportation and ticket center. Then you go down the ramp, over to the other track and up that ramp where you board the Epcot monorail. If all the stars are in alignment and there is no wait at either the Contemporary or at the TTC for the monorail, you could do it in less than 20 minutes. However, I can't tell you how many times we "just miss" the monorail connection....

And it will also depend whether you "just miss" the monorail at the CR.

Don't forget it will take 5-10 minutes to get from your room at BLT to the monorail platform at CR (depending on what floor you're on and how fast you walk).

If it was me, I'd allow 60-90 minutes.

Thanks. I have taken the route before - eating at the CR or taking the resort from another hotel, whatever. Sounds like 20-60 is a good range... I'm actually trying to figure out a midday break and if we'll have time for a nap lmao. We'll leave plenty of extra time in the morning.

Anyone else have an "average" transit time in each direction as a data point? And which way is it that you can walk from one monorail to the other? Or is that the Express line?
