Monorail toy playset question

I'm looking to pick up the set for my son's birthday on disneystore.com and wanted to know about the tracks that are included.

Site says 12 curved and 2 straight tracks are included, does anyone know about how big the track is once assembled? Should I get extra track as well? My biggest concern is not being able to have a 'loop' if I just got the set (no extra track). Thanks in advance

We bought this at Disney World last Sept but I didn't buy any extra track and it has been fine. It still makes a pretty good size oval.

My DS has this monorail and it makes an oval that is about 4 feet by 2 feet. He can easily sit inside the oval and play while the monorail goes around him and he is 8.
