Monorail still shutting down before MK closes?

Hey all, on our last trip the Monorail was shut down before MK was was fully shut down so we ended up just walking back to BLT at the end of the night which isn't a big deal for my husband and I. Next year we're returning and we'll have one person who will have a some minor mobility issues and I'm concerned that by the end of the day she'll be too tired to make that walk back to the resort. Do you know if they're still shutting down the monorail a bit early or if there's any transportation options back to BLT/CR at the end of the night form MK?

Walking may be shorter than going to the monorail with the crowd, waiting for your turn, getting off at the Contemporary and then walking over to BLT.

I agree the walk may not be much different.

Last week, the monorail was running after MK close...but to get on the resort monorail, you have to use the center exit, go down to the boat docks and then up the resort monorail ramp as they roped off the area between the express monorail ramp and the resort ramp (I guess to direct most TTC parking guests to the easier express Monorail)

It was not shutting down when we were there in June.

I haven't mapped it out but also suspect it actually isn't much further to walk. First there's the walk around to the ramp up to the monorail and then you exit at the CR and have to walk over to BLT. I don't know if it would even be double the distance.
