Monorail resort breakfast

No time for parks on our last day - sniff, I hate thinking about this part of the trip - but I would love to have a leisurely breakfast, scope out resorts, and take the monorail loop. Me, dh, dds 7&9 yrs old coming from the Dolphin. Any sugesstions?

There are character breakfasts at all three resorts, Chef Mickey's, Ohanas and Park Faire. Then there are Concourse Steakhouse at the Contemporary, known for sticky Mickeys, sticky buns, the Kona Cafe at the Polynesian, known for Tonga Toast and great coffee and I am sure there is some place at the Grand Floridan but I do not know the name.
The only place I can vouch for is the Kona where the food is usually good, but not so on our last trip.

The Grand Floridian Cafe is supposed to be good and it's non-character. We had Kona Cafe last week at the Polynesian and it wasn't very good at all and the service was slow. This place seems to get rave reviews so maybe we wen't on an off day. I've never had a bad breakfast at the Concourse Steakhouse at the Contemporary. We had breakfast there 3 or 4 times last week. The food is hot and tastey and we've always had friendly timely service.

If you are not looking for a character breakfast, I would recommend the GF Cafe for breakfast. Service is always very good and the breakfast selections are excellent. Nice location with nice surroundings.

This is the first I've heard about GF cafe. I'll look up the menu, thanks! We'll have already done a character meal by then, and we are doing 'Ohana for dinner one night, so I thought it would be nice to check out another resort. I want to see WL too, but I haven't heard much about WC for breakfast, so maybe we'll just walk through and look around there. Thanks again!
