Hi girls, thanks for thinking of me today.

I am 4 cm. and 50 % efaced. They scheduled me to be induced 6/30 if this little princess does not appear by then. Dr. thinks I will have the baby before my next appointment which is Friday afternoon....gosh, I hope so!!! Emma's heartbeat was 155. My BP was up a bit 122/80 and I gained a pound (total
5lb for pregnancy). Feeling a bit crampy and tired after internal.

I go for my Gest Diabetes test tomorrow... yuck! Also getting the rhogam-- double yuck!

I just called a local 3D/4D u/s place to schedule one. Any tips for getting good photos? She should be calling me soon to schedule it (she had someone at the time). Im excited. Also-- is paying for the DVD worth it on a 3D/4D scan?

I'll be following behind you in 4.5 weeks. . . .

I made an appointment for my 3d/4d ultrasounds and they sent this in the email to me:

We recommend drinking plenty of water to keep you hydrated days before your ultrasound session. On the day of your ultrasound session, it is best if the baby is moving. We recommend having something to stimulate movements such as juice.

I know there has been discussion on this board regarding washing baby socks and that a mesh bag was recommended. I am having a heck of a time finding one to buy I walked up and down the aisles at Target the other day with no luck. Maybe I'm looking in the wrong section??? Mine is from WalMart but I bought it in the laundry section.. like where you buy hampers and hangers and the such. I think it's a "lingerie bag" by title. It's made by Woolite. HTH.

Good to know. . . I think I'll start weekly at 36. . . so I thankfully still have 12 weeks to go. . . though I am starting to get anxious/excited to meet my little one!

Well, I had my first appointment yesterday. Nothing exciting. Everything is good. Still haven't gotten sick at all, surprisingly, because I was terribly sick with my first, and even hospitalized with dehydration 6 times, so maybe the baby gods are smiling on me with this one!!

Man, we're getting so close Sarah! July 10th I go for my strep B and then I go weekly after that. Which means that is when my internals start. There is a light at the end of the tunnel!

My Strep B test is July 2. I'm just glad it wasn't at my appt. last week because I couldn't remember when they did that and panicked a little to myself over it in the waiting room. I guess that's pretty common because the first thing the nurse told me after she called me back was "Just a heads-up that your Strep B test will be on your NEXT appt." It's not any big deal, I just hadn't planned on it last week and wasn't ready for an internal.
