Oh, and I finally started looking into pediatricians today. Most hospitals (including the one I'm delivering at) prefer you have your pediatrician picked out by the time you go into labor so I really need to start my search. I found a couple of pediatrics groups in the same medical center where my OB-GYN is so I am going to call them and see about getting Jake in. Did any of you all actually interview your pediatrician? Some of the books I have read give this whole list of prepared questions you're supposed to ask them but that seems a little odd to me. Is that the norm though? I don't know how to go about this so any mom's who already have pediatricians....help please![]()
We interviewed ours. I didn't use a list I just asked questions about what happens at the hospital, will she come to see him, when would his first appointment be etc. She wanted to meet with us, I already knew of her so I didn't feel too strongly about an interview but when I called to see if she was taking new clients they set up an appointment with her.

) but I've been very, very pleased with him so far (Lucas has been to his practice twice now since we were discharged due to his issues with the formula he was on...)
