Day 4, Thursday March 26th
We had decided to sleep late today. We were, in fact, on vacation without the kiddos and should enjoy the ability to sleep late. We had thought and debated about getting up early to go to MK for EMH but after a rather late night the night before we opted for sleeping.
Now you must understand that late to us is probably not late to a lot of people. I think I had called for a 9 am wakeup call but because anything past 7:30 is late for me I was up at 8ish. I got myself ready and sat outside and enjoyed the peace, quiet and beauty of my view!
I made sure I was in the room at 9 to pick up the phone for DH. He quickly got up, surprising because DH is not a morning person. But I guess sleeping until 9 had him full of energy! He was ready in no time and we discussed what to do.
Our breakfast reservation at Chef Mickeys wasnt until 10:30 and by this time it was only about 9:15. We thought about heading to the Contemporary to see if we could be seated early but figured that was no way in heck that was going to happen.
I suggested we see more of the grounds at Poly and DH agreed so we took a nice morning picture taking stroll!

We walked around for a good long while. Probably 45 minutes and enjoyed a few little rests on a bench or a swing during our stroll!
Ive said it before, Poly is just beautiful!! I think its probably tied with WL for my favorite resort now!!
About 10 we decided to head to the Contemporary to check into Chef Mickeys!
We arrived quickly, of course, and soon checked in! Then it was time to wait, wait and wait some more. We waited for what seemed like forever! Truly we waited 45 minutes. No joke. It was kind of annoying to us but I really felt bad for all the people with kids. Some of the kids were getting very antsy waiting so long!
We were finally called, had our picture taken and were seated! Hurray! The funny thing was that we were seated at the table we sat at during our first trip with the kids back in 05!
Anyway, we soon made our way to the buffet and enjoyed a yummy breakfast! I, of course, was very careful not to eat too much or too much of a variety. Those of you who read my TR from our family trip in January will recall my experience after our breakfast at The Crystal Palace! I didnt want to experience the awfulness of breakfast reappearing again this trip!!! So some fruit, a small (very small, rather more like tiny) helping of eggs, 1 piece bacon was it for me! DH on the other hand ate the entire buffet! LOL!! DH LOVES breakfast and couldn't resist taking a little bit of just about everything and a lot of a few things!
We were, of course, visited by all our favorite characters! I sat on the outside of the table and DH took pictures of me with them! LOL! The thing is, I dont photograph well sometimes and DH is a terrible photographer! So Im not going to share a lot of pictures with you! Sorry, I just cant! I either look way fatter then I am (Ill admit freely to being a little fat

but not that fat) or am making a stupid face! I will share 1 or 2 though!
The highlight of Chef Mickeys, to me at least, was that Mickey kissed me on the cheek! Awwwwww, I love Mickey soooo much! But DH didnt get a picture of it!!! UGHGHGH!
Our lovely and enthuastiatic waitress brought us a cupcake with candles to celebrate our anniversary during one of the "Celebrate with Mickey Mouse" song and napkin twirling extravangazas!! DH and I split it and it was yummy!
But, soon we were all full and had seen all the characters so we headed for the bus stop to catch a bus to DHS!
