Yesterday, 3/1, they did have the last two presentations of Tapestry of Dreams. It was not raining, actually was a nice evening. There was a large group there giving them a really nice send-off, including myself. I still have a hard time thinking about it a whole day later, because tears well up in my eyes. When they went back through the gates for the final time at Morocco, the whole crowd, went WOOOOO real loud, and clapped and cheered. When the performers said some of the last words, like "we'll be with you", the crowd shouted "we'll be with you!" back at them. Some of the crowd even had signs holding up saying "Dream on!" "Dream on!" "Dream on!". Oh crap, I can't hardly write this- it was just very touching, and something I'll never forget. Even during the performance I saw performers come up to some of the guests, make gestures at them to indicate "cheer up and smile" and clap with them, because some people were sad. A lot of friends and family members seemed to show up to provide support for the performers, and it looked like they were going to have a party afterward. Tapestry of Dreams performers, thank you very much. I don't know how to thank you more- you have really touched my life.
