Ants, it is a whole lot better that the dress is too big rather than the other way around. Much easier to alter the dress than your, nearly perfect, self. :thumbsup2

My procedure is not until August 14th. They have to wean me off the Coumadin first for fear I would bleed to death. From what I understand they will insert the Bravo Probe to my esophagus when they do the endoscopy. It has been explained that the reason for it is to see if the new medication is working or not so I have decided to go for it. I am hoping the results will not come back until I have left on my trip. Not anything I can do either way and I do not want stuff hanging over my head, unless it is positive. Lucy would worry so I am not telling her. :upsidedow

Are you going to that big meet that they have each year? If so check out the table with the greeters and look for Lisa and Frank and PLEASE give them a big hug from me? She is IASW Rider on here. We have been on the same thread for 7 years. We just celebrated our anniversary the other day. Fantastic folks!!

BTW, I have learned that you do not walk across gravel in your bare feet if you take blood thinners. Not on the list of things the doctor told me to avoid. Think I should sue?:rotfl:

Nancy, it is always difficult to see oneself as we truly are. Not sure I would really want to know everything about myself but am glad that I have gotten a bit wiser with age and know more about myself. Ever wonder how come some very incompetent folks have a deluded and highly inflated view of themselves? Seems to work for them though. I think young folks should go for it, before they are tied to responsibilities and such. It is better to have tried and failed then not to try and wonder IF. :confused3

Mom2Evie, do you miss the Internet or consider a vacation to be from that also? I do. I tend to live completely differently on vacation than I do at home. It is a nice break. Sounds as if you had a lovely location. Hope the weather was loverly as well. :)

Figment, I know little about cell phones. I have a simple TracPhone and never use more than a couple of dozen minutes in a year. Most of them at DW. I figure if you cannot hear it ring it is nearly useless.

Yard mowed, trying to wake up the small boy. When I whisper baseball he will come to life. He has a game this afternoon. I have packed a huge basket of food for everyone to chomp on. Not up to my usual standards but the best I could do. Heck, it is FREE food!!;)

Again thank you for believing in me when I lack that in myself sometimes I truely appricate it and I know what you mean about people deluding themselves we have them here all over the place.:worship: :worship: :rotfl:

I made great stides with the Honey Dew List last night and got the back porch done waterproofed it and it was supposed to be a stain also but it doesn't look like it so I will have to go buy some stain and redo it later but at least the waterproofing is done! Check next on the list oh crap more wedding stuff:lmao: Oh and @ teeth filled at the dentists yesterday after 2 years only 2 cavitites YEAH I am so proud, isn't that awful.

Okay gals its that time already!

PHONE TREE TIME:

Please Pm me with your numbers and I will start it or if someone else would like to do it I am more than willing to hand it over to ya!:rotfl:

Nancy, I am not 100% sure but pretty sure that you will need a sealer with stain to put over the sealer otherwise the plain stain will just bead up. Using a product with both sealer and stain will probably bind with the sealer you already have on. I would ask the paint store. I do a lot of painting and such.

I will send my info to you shortly.

probably will need to do that but whatever it takes to make it look better than the weathered look like it does now! Well at least its weather proofed for now. Thanks for the help, I am not a big painter so any advise it greatly appreicated.

I got your infor not that I didn't have it but I will compile a list and send it out this afternoon and if I miss anyone I would ask that they just put their names and phone numbers on it.

I have a lot of names and phone numbers already so I will try and put those on too.

Morning all

Today did not start off too good. My flight to Florida is cancelled.:scared1: Midwest is considering it seasonal. So I have been on the phone trying to figure out what is the best route for us now. I think I will just ask for a refund and book Airtran out of Milwaukee. Its the cheapest at the moment.

Well today I am off to Brookfield Zoo with my brother and my niece. She is getting so big.

Hope everyone has a better day than my started off as.

NO WAY!! I would be so P***ed off. I would do what you are thinking of doing just booking with airtran and see if midwest might be ava. to help with extra costs since they cancelled this close to the dates!

Have fun at the zoo.

Well I have not left for the zoo yet. My brother fell back asleep and has not left his house yet. He lives in NW Indiana so he has a longer drive than I do.

Well Midwest just called me back. Man I am not happy. They wanted me to leave MCO at 6am and stop in 2 other cities and get to MKE at like 1. NO other options. So I just went and booked with Airtran and will call tomorrow and get a refund. I wanted to make sure that I could get a decent flight for not an arm and a leg before I cancelled otherwise I would have to take the NW flight.

Crzykid,
So sorry to hear about your flight. Sadly, they are predicting this will happen a lot now with the fuel costs for the airlines. They said the off season people will get hit bad with cancelations of flights and rerouting. I would hate to have one stop over let alone 2. Glad to hear you were able to find another flight. I know American out of Ohare is having some $99 sales for that time. I have been very fortunate flying American and in all my flights to Orlando they have only changed by less than an hour. Hopefully everything works out well.

I need to get to the zoo again. I miss Brookfield zoo. I grew up a few towns from there so we visited a lot when they had free entry on Tuesdays as a kid.
Enjoy the day with your neice.

Pooh, I have learned a lot from past mistakes. :lmao: My fence is weathered and I worked hard to get it that way. Ever notice on those home decor shows, if a room is light they make it dark and in the reverse? I do not change things often but I have so many darned rooms that I would not have the time. By the time I get one area done it is time to do another. I am in sore need of a complete new bathroom and it is not something I can diy so it is going to cost BUCKS, lottsa bucks. :scared1:

crzykid. yet another reason why I drive instead of fly. If bad weather threatens I can leave early or late too. My grandson left for FL this morning on a mission trip. I hope it all works out for you this time and turns out to be for the best.

Ang, I typed you a message last night on my laptop but was having problems. I will have to go check my laptop and see if it is still sitting there. We had some sort of electrical problem last night and it might have scrambled some stuff. I scared of any zoo. They tend to try to keep me. :lmao:

SG

SG,
Got that message so no need to check. You mentioned it was a laptop and your not good at typing on one. Talk to you soon.

Ang

Ang, I think your message was the only one that got sent. A lengthy forward was clogging my system. Go figure! lol

Actually mine was about 2 sizes too big too! I'm having the bridal shop where I bought it alter it so I can wear it to my neices wedding next year..they are going to alter it in January for me! Talk about messed up sizes! :confused3

So here I am sitting at work today, and thinking to myself....uuuggg I'm another year older! :headache: I think I need a drink! :rolleyes1

WIC, birthdays are all in how you look at it.

It sure is better to have one than to not be around for one. :thumbsup2

You are another year wiser.:cheer2:

The best thing is that we all got to enjoy a year with you and look forward to what the next year has in store for you!!!

Are you going to do anything special? I wish I could take you out to eat. We could talk up a storm and it might well take us until next year and next birthday to finish!:dance3:

Again, happy birthday dear friend and may the next year bring you good health, lots of laughs and more trips to DW!

Love, Linda Lou/SG

Yeah for some reason I'm feeling way old this year....must be because of what's going on with my health right now! :headache: Normally I just look at a birthday as another day...but I feel OLD today, which stinks because I'm only 43!

No, no plans today....husband has to work midnight to noon, so he wasn't home when I got up and will be asleep when I get home tonight! Kellie did sing happy birthday to be when she woke up this morning though! :thumbsup2
