Mojito Monkey Mama's 2 cont'd

It is beginning to seem like instead of a DIS meet we should be having a Hospital meet. :scared:  :flower3:

Wic, it is just sheer force of will that keeps me upright too. Dizzy sucks. I hope you get to feeling better and the BP keeps falling until it is more normal. :lovestruc

Pooh, yikes! I cannot imagine dealing with that. I would be devestated if I ever hurt anyone else, accidentally either. My heart goes out to the family of the victim. :grouphug:

crzykid, are you able to watch fireworks from your house? Our local parade comes right by our house so everyone comes here to watch each year. I love it. I hope your doctor's visit goes well.

Is there anyone who will be at DW when we are that goes to church? Lucy is a very religious person and I would hate for her to miss church. I am not a good city driver so I could not take her into Orlando. I think they did away with the on site services. Also anyone going to Night of Joy? She is interested in that and I am not.

SG

Nancy, sorry to hear about that. That's something hard to deal with even if it is accidental.

SG, we skip church while at Disney. I assume God will forgive me. From what I've heard about NOJ it's alot of local youth groups. Does your friend really want to deal with that? I considered going, but assumed my 8 year old would have been bored.

The dizziness certainly makes for a challenging morning, driving to work is an adventure! :scared:

Oh yeah, you asked about Buffett playing DW, yeah.......I think the Mouse would have to go into hiding once the parrotheads started showing up! :rotfl2:

Figment, my friend is a much nicer person than I am. She would not want to miss church services. Not sure if I could talk her into watching a service on TV. She is so nice that she would go along with anything just to be nice to me and I would hate that. I am religious not formal about it. I also do not think I know The Way, just trying to stay somewhere near the path. :lmao:

WIC, yep the driving is problematic. I pick doctors on the edge of town just so I do not have to drive through traffic. Some folks get perturbed at me because I do not make long term committments. I seem to do well on long trips in the a/c car, with nice back support though, as long as I have not had a recent attack. What kind of driving do you have to do? I will keep my fingers crossed for you as long as you do not cross YOUR eyes. ;)

I told Lucy that she might not want to do Night of Joy if she did not recognize any of the names. She has family members who sing with the Gaithers so she will know. She is on a very tight budget also.

My commute to work is 35 miles each way, so I do alot a driving in a week!

Awwww. You're a very nice person, so I doubt that's possible.

I go to church, I teach Sunday School, but I don't bother on vacation. Maybe she can google for a church that is acceptable to her and take a cab? I'm sure she would want to find a church that is close enough to her home church. I'm Pentecostal, I certainly wouldn't want to accidentally wind up in a Catholic church. I'm not sure when I should kneel and genuflect.

I'm pretty sure none of those groups are like the Gaithers.

well its been a very busy morning here I ended up with both of the fmailies here and trying to keep them apart was very tricky!:scared1:

The towing department sent the other family down to me (told them to ask for me personally) so trying to deal with the woman who hit this poor guy and the guy's family who just died wasn't a pleasant scene here at all!

Everyone here thinks I am the "psychologist (sp) or counselor for some reason and they send all of the families to me to deal with. Thank god we are less then 65 days for Vacation. As it turns out the woman who hit this guy her husband used to work her and I know her so I was completey surprised when she came in and all upset until I ask what was wrong and she just starting crying so hard I ran over to her and gave her this huge hug and told her everything would be okay.

Last night I had to go to a viewing of one of my best friends(8years) who passed last thursday from lung cancer, he was so brave but I totally lost it last night and had to leave after being ther for about 10 mins.

On to happier things LIKE DISNEY NOW!! Is everyone getting ready ??? I know I am! I started to pack a few things the other day, Timmy and I have finished up our internary for sept. I hope!:worship:

Wic I am so sorry you guys won't be there I really will miss you!!

Nancy, I can see where folks would naturally gravitate to you. It seems a common attribute of folks who hang out around here. Gets wearing to be the shoulder all the time though. I am sure you are better at saying the right thing than many. I could not do your job. I get too emotional. I could not work with sick children either. If I already know one I do. The lady who hit the other person, she was sober? If so, it was just a tragic accident, Does not make it hurt any the less though. :grouphug:

Figment, my friend is very formally religious, different from me. She could not afford a cab nor would she know how to go about using one. She is far more naive than I. I think I can convince her that we will watch a service on TV. She would do it out of consideration for me though and I would not like that. I checked the website and sent it to her and I am sure she will see that it might not be to her tastes. Thank you so very much.

WIC, driving all that distance when you do not feel well is hard. I hope you do not have heavy traffic at least. I only drive about once a week right now, unless I have doctor's appointments, which has been pretty often. It is hard to try to get all the shopping and chores done in the two hours I have while Tom is bowling. It costs $8 in gas to just drive to town so I do not do it lightly. I am so sorry that you will not be coming to join us. You will be there in spirit though. Maybe next year? My bil's want me to take them after Thanksgiving. I would gladly leave them on their own and tag along with you. :dance3:

Back to work for me. My little guy will be here soon and he keeps me hopping.

Thank you for your kind words Ms. Linda it is always nice to hear how others see you. :flower3: If I was just a bit more to the brainier side I would go back to school to be a counselor or psychologist everyone tells me I am great at it but not for myself but does anyone really take there own advise anyways!:lmao:

The woman who hit this person was not drinking nor was she on a cell or on drugs it was just a tragic accident and the intersection where it happened at was a bad place lots of accidents there and the State is now going to have a meeting on July 22nd to bad that it took this latest accident to make it happen.

Nancy, I have always told my grandchildren and others that it is best not to drink even one single drink and drive because you would always have to worry if that one single detail made a difference in an accident. I am glad that your friend does not have that added worry. I am sure she feels terribly enough. It is my greatest worry that I hurt someone else.

I do not think that people seek advice as much as they do to have someone listen to them. Most sensible folks can figure out what to do just from talking it out. The others are not going to do right no matter what anyway. You are a good listener. I do not think I could stand to hear more pain and angst. I have had more than my share through the years and it bothers me greatly not to be able to FIX stuff.

There are many different kinds of smarts, some folks are book smart but dumber than a box of rocks. Why not take a course or two and see how it goes if it is something that interests you. Do you think only those who get A's accomplish stuff? Most of the time those who have had a struggle are better able to understand and help others.

I wish i had the confidence in myself as others have in me. It took my how many years to re-open my business due to this but I will look into this prospect and see what may come out of it but it will have to wait until after the wedding I just don't think I could add any more pressure to me right now!:confused3

Mom2Evie, checking in. I've been on vacation & away from the internet since Friday morning, July 11. We stayed in a beach house withno internet AT ALL since then, but we're in a regular hotel room in south Alabama tonight. TOmorrow night I'll be at my Dad's house and maybe I'll have the internet there. Sigh...
I've missed you guys. I think I'm all caught up now.

Timmy, YES I can text. Feel free. I have some great pics on my phone if any of you would like to see them. Send me a PM or a text if you have my cell number.

Hope you are having a great time!! We miss you! you can send some of thos pictures to me I have unlimited everything on my new sprint phone(sprints version of the Iphone)! Its awesome.

Nancy, how is the new Sprint phone? I'm looking at new phones and I liked the Insite, just was a little nervous about the price tag. My best friend's husband works for Sprint so we get a discounted plan, but no discounted phone.

The wedding is almost here for you.

its awesome the only thing I don't like about it so far is that it won't give you your missed calls only when you have them I haven't found where you can just go look them up, other than that they work great sound is awesome on it and talk time perfect.

how long have you been on the plan they are doing specials right now for customers. I have been a sprint customer for about 10years and got mine for well lets just say they paid me 20bucks for the phone:yay: :yay:

I spoke with Jettsetter90 last night and she wanted to say HI to everyone and is sorry that she has been doing drive-bys and not stopping in to say hi to anyone but has been very busy with on child going off to college and work and other stuff. As soon as things calm down she will post again. She says she misses everyone and will talk to us very soon.

Quick drive by ... :car: been working 12 - 14 hour shift sorry ...

Bonzi    prayers and positive chi sending your way..

rei  will do!!

Nancy!! I think the dress is 2 sizes bigger.. I dont even need to unzip it to get in it.. Hmmm have to look for a shop to alter it... Ok.. work is from 11A to 11P tonite..

Have a Spectromagical Weekend!!!

Nancy, it is always difficult to see oneself as we truly are. Not sure I would really want to know everything about myself but am glad that I have gotten a bit wiser with age and know more about myself. Ever wonder how come some very incompetent folks have a deluded and highly inflated view of themselves? Seems to work for them though. I think young folks should go for it, before they are tied to responsibilities and such. It is better to have tried and failed then not to try and wonder IF. :confused3

Mom2Evie, do you miss the Internet or consider a vacation to be from that also? I do. I tend to live completely differently on vacation than I do at home. It is a nice break. Sounds as if you had a lovely location. Hope the weather was loverly as well. :)

Figment, I know little about cell phones. I have a simple TracPhone and never use more than a couple of dozen minutes in a year. Most of them at DW. I figure if you cannot hear it ring it is nearly useless.

Yard mowed, trying to wake up the small boy. When I whisper baseball he will come to life. He has a game this afternoon. I have packed a huge basket of food for everyone to chomp on. Not up to my usual standards but the best I could do. Heck, it is FREE food!!;)
