Moderators- You need to step up

So if they volunteer and no one is paying for the membership then do people really have a right to expect more from them? I am sure many of them have families, jobs, life outside the DIS. It is unrealistic to imagine them chained to their computors 24/7 reading EVERY single post playing mom to a bunch of people that are enjoying this website for free. I like that this is a free site, you would not want to have to pay to be here so they could hire people to play mom would you?

Seriously...there was a thread (now locked I believe) about someone's car being broken into while at WDW. I 'think' that is what was being alluded to (was that the right word??). It was a 'break-in' thread.

while I appreciate the YAGE the thought that the Dis is UNDER-moderated is laughable.

Now I'm not looking to get banned or anything but anyone can see the enormous amount of threads and posts that have been poofed lately, not to mention the hundred or so long time members who have also vanished. Obviously the moderators are doing something.

Nah, Just put a schmear of vaseline on it and wrap it with plastic wrap. You'll be good to go in a few days.

I try so hard to make everyone happy and not have anyone mad at me. I was genuinely upset and you make fun of a typo... I guess I live in a bubble because I try very hard to make everyone happy in my world and make sure no one gets upset and succeed for the most part. If the children even start to make a rude comment, then they are severely punished. It just isn't allowed.. I guess I should go...
