What your friend really needs right now is a killer divorce attorney. She also should visit several and pay for the visit. I had heard that if they talk to her they won't be able to represent her husband. I might have my info. wrong, but if I'm right he may have already put the better attorney's in the area on retainer to prevent her from using them.

I don't know the income qualifications, but WIC can help your friend with formula, milk, and some foods for her & the children. They will give food checks to the pregnant mother, formula, baby juice, and cereal for the babies, plus milk, cheese, eggs, etc. to all of the children until the are 5. It is a program worth looking into. SBella

That is just horrible. I know she is beyond financially strapped right now, but she needs to get a good lawyer ASAP. I feel sure that there must be divorce attorneys who work pro bono. It sounds to me like she has a pretty good case considering his behavior.

As I mentioned on the other thread, if she is really needing items and has no funds, perhaps driving an hour is really not so unreasonable.

Also, as I mentioned there as well, there are many, many mothers of twins/mothers of multiples groups out there and there are at least 3 that I know of in the Atlanta area. They would be a terrific resource of information on companies that may help out after the babies' birth with free products. And they would probably be able to help out with specific items that a mom of multiples needs like a triple stroller or the like.

Not trying to come across as anything but sincere, but if someone really has nothing for their children I don't see why they wouldn't be willing to look a little bit away from their home to find items that would be free. You don't have to live right in a specific area to be able to join a freecycle list and I've certain that there are people in your area who must post to one freecycle or another, it is extremely popular.

Yes she really DOES exist. Why would I ruin my rep on the disboards if I didn't? I don't know why 2 outfits is a big deal? I had gotten them in the exchange and she didn't care for them. I am sorry for the miscommunication but I am telling the truth. I love the disboards and would not take it for granted.

I am sorry, but if I was in as desperate a situation as your friend, I wouldn't be picky about clothes. As long as my baby was warm, I don't care what they are wearing..

I can't speak for TF, but tigger113 has posted her ebay id on the DIS several times. Being suspicious and nosy by nature I did a search of her name .
