BD and I finally agree on something, Michelle is respected and liked by many. I personally loved working with Michelle and having her for our TA. I knew she would fight the fight for us and give us the best service available.
I think she is funny, smart and very patient. I used her to book our upcomming cruise and a Non-
DCL cruise I just took last month. She was and is a GREAT TA.
She let me know awhile back that she no longer worked at DU and then I found out last night she had been "banned". Needless to say I am very upset. I agree much goes on behind the scences we don't know and don't need to know about but bottom line is Cathy and Michelle were well regarded as Travel Agents and Moderator's. I think a lot of us believe in customer loyalty to our TA as we do to DCL and that equals big $$$.
I imagine they have hired new agents but my family has 3 cabins booked for the 10/25 Magic and until I threw a little temper tantrum last week I was getting no or slow service from DU which shocked me. Yes, Michelle was our TA but just bc she is going a different direction does not mean customer service went out the door.
I know our current TA's from DU will read this and I don't mean to offend but come on we have been treated worse than a foster child with no one responding to our questions and requests. Then we were assigned to Tammy who seems very nice but I e-mailed for 5 days and cc'd everyone else including the DU reservation e-mail and no one let me know Tammy was on vacation. I thought that was poor customer service for us and NOT Tammy's fault since she is entitled to a vacation and she probably did not know our 3 cabins were her foster children just like we did not know she was magically our TA................anyway if anyone with DU with any authority reads this listen to what I am saying.
We were not just asking about a little thing we were trying to get my Mother moved to a handicap cabin. It was frustrating bc a DU TA was telling us my Mother's Medical Form was not on file but we had a nice e-mail from DCL and DU stating it was on file so longer story longer it took awhile to get someone at DU to help us (Candie did thank you

and to get the DCL Medical Coordinator involved etc.........
I have also wanted to upgrade to be closer to my Mother and that has been hard believe it or not.
Michelle I am so sorry for whatever happened that made them ban you. I feel that losing Rae and Ann and now you that these boards are having a changing of the guard I do not know if I want or am ready for. We cruise over 3 times a year and were very excited when Michelle was able to book DCL and Non-DCL cruises for us but I don't know what to expect now...........................................

Bottom line is I am a little sad today over this
