MNSSHP twice in one trip? Less special?

Hi everyone! I'm taking my 4 yr old niece to WDW for 3 nights in Sept. We'll arrive from a 3 hour flight on the morning of an MNSSHP party, around 11:30 am.

Do you think it would be too much to try and do MNSSHP that night?

I'd already planned to take her to MNSSHP two days later (and was just going to do water park or pool on arrival day), but now I kind of want to do both nights at MNSSHP! The ride wait times are just too tempting!! then the second time around, we could pay more attention to the parades etc. Plus I think she (and I:) will want to see the Castle asap upon arriving.

BTW, on our third (of 3 total days), we're going to be at Epcot all day.

So this would be our schedule:
Day 1: Arrive MCO 11:30 am, MNSSHP at 4:00, cost $129
(alternative: Typhoon Lagoon, cost $48 since I have pass... but closes at 6 or 7)
Day 2: Epcot all day with break at resort (Boardwalk) pool
Day 3: Character breakfast, Boardwalk pool, MNSSHP
Day 4: Depart noon for 3:00 flight out of MCO

I think it sounds like a great plan as long as you can find a place to rest and possibly nap before the party. Hopefully your room will be ready. If not we have found the kid's club by the quiet pool to be a great place to hang out and relax until our room is ready - lots of comfy seating, movies and quiet activities to pass the time.
When I would travel with DGrD11 and DNeph17 when they were little we always loved doing 2 nights for parties. Just the way you planned, doing a few characters and the rides one night and the parade and fireworks another (and of course a little trick or treating both nights!). They never could hang for the whole night like they do now, so it was a great way to feel like we did 'enough' - we love MNSSHPs! This year I am taking my next set of little grands (DGrD3 and DGrS1) for their first MNSSHP. Enjoy!

PS: dont forget to schedule FP+ between 4 and 7 - DGrD11 and I snagged an A&E FP+ for 3:45-4:45 on our party night in Sept - perfect way for her to start the party as she was dressed in an Elsa costume we had made together.

I think that first day will be a little long for your niece. I'd only go to one party, later in your stay. I'm assuming you are guessing the party dates, as I don't believe they've been released yet.

That sounds great! You'll have an amazing time!

I really want to take my niece to both. How late did the kids stay out when younger? I have no idea how late my niece will be able to stay up. I do want her to have energy for Epcot the next day though!

Sounds like a lot for a 4 year old especially if your room isn't available when you arrive and you want her to be ready for Epcot the next morning.. I would do one party and do something on arrival day but make it an earlier night.

I agree with others who say it would be a long day for a 4 year old. My nieces who were 4 and 16 months were pretty much passed out by the end of a long MK day during our trip in October. I say only do one party.

It would be a long day, but if you think you can get her to take a nap before the party I totally would! You can't do everything in just one party IMO so going to 2 parties allows you to not feel so rushed. We went to 2 Halloween parties on our first trip and it was well worth it for us.
