Look up as you exit MK, this is up throughout all off September and October I think.

We were the first to this particular trick or treat station.

Ohhhh... scarrrrry. This was at the entrance to the Liberty Square Riverboat.

We saw her walking all over the MNSSHP, this shot was taken right after the party began at 7:15PMish in front of the Haunted Mansion.

Spoooooooky fog on the way into HM.

We usually try to hit several rides during the parties, but it looks like there's so much to do during this one, that we may have to skip 'em! So, so, so excited about this!! We love Halloween anyway, but to do it up Disney-style is going to be ridiculous amounts of fun!! September is sneaking up on me, so I guess I better get some costumes going!

Can anyone tell me, what rides are walk ons between 4 and 7?

And when people say long candy lines...exactly how many min are we talking?

I am wondering the same thing about the candy lines as well as the Character greetings....do the lines get really outrageous or only like 10 or 20 minutes?

I only went once on Sept 16th last year and I never had more than 10 people in front of me on a line, they move very quickly and it was no problem. Same thing with the rides. I have no idea how they get later in the season and on the weekends.

As one of those newbies (we'll be at the first one this year, 9/4), thank you for this thread.

We're going to our first MNSSHP this year too, on Oct. 15th. Thanks for all the GREAT info.

We live in North MS and the closest one to us is in Memphis, TN (about 75 miles). I may have to think of a reason to go to Memphis before we leave.

I found them online at e-bay. It's worth a try. As far as a Disney store, I think the nearest one for us would be 100 miles or so away. Sorry, but I'm not that adventurous when it comes to getting a goody bag. Good luck!

The trick or treat lines are sometimes long but don't be fooled, they move fast. It only takes seconds for the CM to put candy in your bag.

The character lines, on the other hand take much longer, between the photos and/or autographs.

Our first MNSSHP is the 11th of September. Way too excited! Can hardly stand the wait. I have three girls all dresse dup in some sort of HSM costumes. 2 Gabriella's & 1 cheerleader. haven't decided on myself but I'll be lucky if DH dresses in a halloween t-shirt.

We're going to be there on October 27 too! We'll be on our honeymoon trip and it'll be my birthday. I figure - what better way to spend my birthday than getting boatloads of candy? LOL

I knew I wanted to do the Halloween party when we decided to go in October, and this thread is getting me all excited!

Hello All!!

I've read every post so far and gotten tons of helpful info. I called and talked to a CM tonight and she said that there is no feasible way to get everyone in and out at 7, so they still are planning to let people in at 4

My Dh and I are going with our 3 kiddos and we have ADR at 1900 at 4:15 before hand. I plan on just kinda hanging out and not doing much before the party, we'll be going to the 9/11 one and we are staying at the AKVs

Thank you all for the helpful information and tips. Somehow I feel we will still be wandering around aimlessly LOL

I went to my local Disney store today to check for the halloween bags. They weren't out, so I asked the CM. She was surprisingly rude to me, and she gave me a 10 minute lecture on the reasons why they don't have halloween merchandise out and how no Disney stores should yet, and how it would just be wrong if they did sell any bags already. She said I must have seen an old bag and she asked me to describe the new bag. I described the picture I saw posted here of one, and she agreed it was the one. She also said they would most likely sell out really soon when they put them out. During this conversation, we had about 10 people in the store looking for us.

Luckily, I have another Disney store that is not too far away who have the sweetest CMs, so I plan to call them soon to see if they have them.

All Nights 9:00 am - 7:00 pm
The Magic Kingdom Park will close at 7 p.m. on event nights and Mickey's Not-So-Scary Halloween Party will begin at that time.

WRISTBANDS
All event Guests will receive wristbands for the event upon arrival. For Guests already in the Park, wristbands are available at the Rose Garden near Cinderella Castle beginning at 4:00 pm.

Wristband colors for each night will vary.

COSTUMES
. Guests are encouraged to wear costumes to enhance the event feel
. Costumes should be child-friendly and not obtrusive or offensive
. Adult Guests may wear masks, but masks must not obstruct vision
. Guests that "look like" our Disney characters should will be politely informed that they may not pose for pictures or sign autographs for other Guests

Do the crowds thin considerably before a midnight closing on a MNSSHP night? I think this will be my latest night in the parks and wonder if I'll be fighting for a bus that late?
