MNSSHP Ride Question

My sister just told me she heard the Space Mountain is very scary duiring the party. I thought only the outisde areas are decorated. Does anyone know if Space Mtn. would be too scary for the little ones?

The ride is the same as on any other day. The outside is decorated with lights, nothing on inside.
