MNSSHP or illuminations cruise

If you had to pick between the 2, which one would you pick? With 4 of us going, it would be about the same price. If we found someone to share the cruise it could be a lot cheaper. But then again, the cruise is only 1 hr. whereas the party would be 5 hrs. or more!

I've never done an Illuminations Cruise-- However I have done MNSSHP-- I would pick the party. It is really a lot of fun-- and it's so different from just being at MK.

If you have not done either one, I would also vote for MNSSHP. You can catch Illuminations without the cruise by staking out a spot around World Showcase 60 minutes or so before the show. The atmosphere/festivities at MNSSHP are not to be missed......lots of fun, even if you have no children with you!

Last year, Oct2003, we did both. Our first night at WDW that trip, we did Illuminations Cruise. I am glad we did it once, it was nice, but not the best place/way to view Illuminations in my opinion. I agree with the others that you can see Illuminations without the cruise. We then did MNSSHP a couple of nights later and I can't wait to do that again! Although, not Columbus week. It was really neat. If I were going to choose 1, it would be MNSSHP.

I've done both and while I try to make sure that I do the cruise once a trip...I definately would choose MNSSHP over the cruise

MNSSHP is a blast!! I have never done the cruise, but my family still talks about the great time we had at MNSSHP.
