We are going on our first Disney family vacation for the last week of September and were so excited to be able to take advantage of the free dining package. :cool1:

After reading the boards, I had the Travel agent set up an ADR for the Liberty Tree Tavern for 9-29 prior to the official announcement of MNSSHP by WDW. Since the park was scheduled to close at 6:00, the best ADR I could get was at 4:00. :woohoo:

Now my question, I was trying to accomplish two things. I wanted the kids to see the characters in costume and I wanted to be able to be able to not have to leave the park and come back for the party, but I am afraid my reservations may be too early to make this possible.:confused3

Has anyone done this before and what are your thoughts?

Thanks,

We have boys and decided to eat outside the park before MNSSHP. We're eating at Whispering Canyon Cafe and then sailing to the party!

I just think we're going to need an afternoon siesta before the 7 - 12 Party so we'll be out of the park anyway.

Hi - Our ADR's are at LTT, just a bit later. You DO have tix for MNSSHP that night? And you are using MK anyway that day??

If this is the case, you will be more than fine since last year they started letting the MNSSHP guests into the park at 4:30. Day guests had to leave by 6. Then everyone in the park goes to Adventureland, or Futureworld, whatever section they decide this year.

I am guessing you will have to go to guest services or front gate to show your MNSSHP tix and get a bracelet after dinner.

Hope this makes sense and helps a bit. This will be our third Halloween Party and second trip to LTT on that night!! Great fun! See you there!!!

You don't have to leave the park and re-enter. You can get your wristbands either at the restaurant or after you leave, they'll be CM's around the park to exchange your tickets for wristbands...usually they're standing in front of the castle or near City Hall.

Also, if you enter the park after 4:00p, they'll exchange your tickets for wristbands at the turnstyles as well.

Thanks everyone. I am so excited for this trip. Probably more than my children! :cool1:
