MNSSHP - How to book?

Only 31st Oct sells out early usually.
Earlier dates or midweek you can even buy on the day. No rush to book them unless you want the 31st.

I purchased our MNSSHP tickets this afternoon, I rang them at noon and was in a queue of approximately 25 minutes before talking to a CM. She was very helpful and we were able to get the date we wanted.
They wouldn't ship them to the UK however due to issues they have had in the past according to their admin team, the CM double checked this for me and when I asked how we can get hold of them she said we could either pick them up at our hotel check-in desk (most likely) or at Guest Services at any of the parks in the rare event of them not being at the hotel when we check in They gave me a reservation code too for extra security and have tagged the purchased tickets to our payment method so we can be sure that we have a record of the transaction and that the tickets don't go astray. I must admit I do prefer to hold them with my other holiday plans but this will have to do, I'm just getting "planning OCD" these daysI know you lot completely understand Now I just need to get a few irritating songs back out of my head

I also phoned at noon - total call time with holding 35 minutes but I called using Skype so only 1p a minute

Glad to say we are all booked for October 27th CM was great and my tickets are being sent FedEx and I should have them in about a week he said. We are all so excited as this will be our first MNSSHP and to say we are looking forward to it is a bit of an understatement.

I got mine to day through DVC member services, I have to pick them up as have to show my member card to get them. We are going 22nd September.

Wow, it really does seem to be whichever CM you get as to what you get told. I ordered MVMCP tickets yesterday, luckily I was on hold for less than two minutes, and was informed mine would be posted out to me and I should expect to get them within a week. I knew I could ask for them to be will call but I'm like you, I prefer to have them in my hot sticky little hands so didn't ask for this option but it wasn't offered to me, I was just told they would be posted. I just assumed there was a standard charge for international delivery and worked it out to be $14 but I see from on here and another forum that most people have only been charged $4.

Disney really should make sure that they are all singing from the same hymn sheet.

It was exactly same story last year Elaine.
We always do Will Call and collect from DTD free but everyone that had them delivered were posting different prices or being told they could not be sent to UK.

When I called I was given two pricing options for shipping - $4 for Standard International or $14 to have them sent FedEx. I like others like to have them safely tucked away in our Florida folder so I chose the FedEx option

Ahhh, that explains it. Thank you! If I had been given the choice I would have chosen the FedEx one anyway for peace of mind.

Its part of the ticket conditions, you have to dress up and post pics on DIS.

Our 1st party we didn't, every time since we have. Would never do one without dressing up again, adds so much to the enjoyment of the evening, even if you just do something like a hat and spooky earings, better than nothing IMO.

Do Disney decorate the resorts for Halloween as they do for Xmas?
I have seen lists of events going on for resort guests during Halloween, but wondered if the weeks leading up to it have any sights to try and see.

Last year we visited a number of the resort hotels due to ADR's ie Poly, GF, WL, AKL and to be honest we never saw any decorations whatsoever . We were there from the 11th of October till the 1st November.

However, the except to this was at the FWC were we was staying. I would say that it is definately worth a visit just to see all the different decorations in the camping loops. The Americans decorated their RV's and "patch" like we would decorate our homes during Christmas.

We actually spent Halloween itself there and it was fantastic, we travelled around all the many loops trick or treating on our Golf Cart. We had originally planned to spend the night at DTD as we had cirque tickets for the teatime show, but by the time we left the theatre DTD was packed, to busy to enjoy IMO. We therefore just went back to our cabin and decided to have a drive round which resulted in one of the best night of our stay.

Can I also recomend a trip to Celebration if you are there during Halloween. We drove around the area for a good hour admiring the houses and the beautiful if not extreme decorations. One house which must have been worth over 2 million dollars had been turned in to, what I can only describe as "the tower of terror".

Thanks for that - I wouldn't even have thought of going there for decorated houses.
We would have probably ended up there at some point though, nomally Sunday morning for the farmers market and the Dog Bark Bakery.

Can highly recommend a trip here. We went to Trails End for a meal and had a walk around, some of the happy campers spend a lot of time and money on their Halloween displays. Few pics from last October.
