MNSSHP Dessert party question?

I just tried for 9/2 and 9/8--no luck for either night, I'm guessing already sold out? I tried online, nothing, tried again by phone and nada. Sad because after last year's disaster first party of the year, DH said never again to the party, he was willing to do this though because of the reserved space.
I am guessing you tried for just 2 people. I just put in for both those dates for 3 people and they are still both available. I remember from last year people were having a problem when trying to book just a two top table. I can't remember their solution. I think it was to put a third person as an infant so they wouldn't be charged for an extra person. I would call and hopefully you will get an experienced and helpful CM.

Make the reservation for 3 people then once the reservation is confirmed, ask the CM to modify the reservation and remove one person from the reservation. I just did this about five minutes ago for the 10/25 dessert party. The only disadvantage is that they will charge your credit card for 3 people then will apply the credit for the one person back to your card which could take several days.

THANK YOU!!!! :thanks:I had to do the 3 people so I added an infant-no charge. Of course I had to have a name for the infant so I put my cat's name in :cat:...hey she's MY baby:rolleyes1 Any way, just charged for the 2 adults. We will be there on 9/8, here's hoping this year's party is better than last year's.

Yay!! Furry babies count in my book!!

I just booked by MNSHHP dessert party by calling Disney Dining. I needed a table for 2 adults for Sept. 2nd and online reservation were
showing nothing. I read about trying to book for 3 and it did come up available. Instead of paying for an extra ticket, I called Disney
Dining and told them my issue. She was able to sell me just 2 tickets. So excited! Thanks for the information.:dumbo:
