Ok, I went out and bought a wig today. My sister thinks it looks funny on me, but without red hair, I won't be recognizable as Ariel!

This would also work for Giselle. Maybe I'll just save up for the adult sized Giselle dress on disneyshopping.com and go as her instead. I can't decide. I wish I could get her Central Park dress!

My DS4 is going to be Handy Manny on the 8th! He is so excited--he is proud that he has all his tools ready to go! If I can ask, what did you use for the pencil?

That is great! He will be a hit. For the pencil, I designed a cartoon looking one on the computer and then laser printed it. Then I affixed it to heavy cardboard. Then I put velcro in the back of it and on the hat where I wanted it to go. Sewing and tape were involved and got a little dangerous! It was a big production just for a pencil.

My dh is going in the official Capt. Hook costume, ds 4 will be in the official Peter Pan costume and I will be Tink. My costume is made from a formal Donna Morgan dress made of silk chiffon. It's lime green fading into dark green by the time it hits the knee. It is spaghetti straps right now but I'm adding some cute stuff to the top to give it more punch. I got the dress on clearance...reg. $180.00 for $30.00! I got some green Cali Skechers flip flops that have green sequins on them. I have two white balls to attach to the tops of the flip flops. I bought my wings off the internet and will put glitter spray and dust on my body! Good as it gets for me!! We are going on Sept 23!

We are going on Oct. 5th. I'm going as Snow White, my DD is going as Sleeping Beauty,my DS is going as Indiana Jones,and my BF is going to be Alice and her DH I think he's going to be a Jedi.
I'm really excited!!!

My daughter can't decide between Cinderella and Belle. Luckily, we own both of those dresses, and the tiara and wand for Cinderella. I don't know what she's going to pick, but she needs to pick soon. When I asked her what she wanted to be for Halloween she said "I'm going to be Princess Cinderella, and you're going to be my Prince Charming." I don't know how Disney will feel about my crossdressing, lol, but I am considering it. I think it will be cute. My mom said if we go as Cindy and her Prince, she'll dress up as the Fairy Godmother. She already has the hair.

I think next year I am going to be Ariel in her blue dress and make Juliette be Ariel with fins. Hey, if she makes me dress up as a boy this year, it's the least she can do next.

No costumes for us but I have a cute sequenced pumpkin tshirt that I picked up for $2.50 after halloween last year. I'll probably get some cat ears or something. My mom did say she would be willing to wear a witches hat that I have and black shorts and tshirt.

DH and DDad want nothing to do with it I'm trying to find my DH a funny tshirt that he will wear, but so far no luck

I am going to be the can-can doll, my sister - the Dutch doll and my mother will be a Indian doll (middle eastern). I think I will do it in the white costumes so that we will all match better. Do think people will "get it"?
Are other option is 50's poodle skirts as my mother was born in the 50's and we are celebrating her 50th birthday!!! Either way I am making the outfits myself.

DH and I are going as Mrs. Lovett and Sweeney Todd! I have a pie purse and I'm going to make myself a stuffed rolling pin. DH's costume isn't nearly as fun... it's pretty much just pin striped pants, a shirt and vest and some crazy hair with a streak in it.

Well I was going to go as Ariel but I wanted to be something different and I couldn't find the perfect Ariel costume...so this is who I'm going as. We are going on Oct 2nd.

I still have to get a little pink back pack that Darla carries and white knee highs. I'm also going to carry a fish bag with a nemo fish in there and it's ok if it floats because she kills her fishys lol.

What if you bought some flexible wire from a home improvement store? That thing around her head looks like something from the gardening section. I don't know if I would go as far as putting anything metal on my teeth, but fake "head gear" could go a long way...
It's funny, because you already have awesome hair for this costume.
