Gorgeous gown! Just be careful with the rest of your styling. Anything too close to the real deal could be an issue with the CMs. They will likely ask you not to take photos with other guests, so be prepared to hear a speech.

oh i know i am just leaving my hair curled.

Ordered our tickets 4 days ago, Tickets arrived in town yesterday. However being from Canada my only option was Fed Ex international, which is pretty quick compared to normal mail service. Pretty excited, it's a surprise for my girlfriend as she's graduating from university in a couple weeks.

Forgot to mention, tickets are for Friday 9/11. there are only a couple days that really work for us and since we're visiting the park Mon-Thurs, I figured taking a break to go that friday night would be better than rushing it on the Tues with Epcot already planned

Hello, I just wanted to let the UK guys know how to order (as there seemed to be a bit of confusion).
I am a total novice - never been to disney before.
But I called the free number 0800 1 690730 I chose option 3 (i think? - the fireworks reservations) asked the lady that answered and she was more than happy to help - we booked and paid for our 4 tickets for 31st Oct and there was no delivery fee as she said that we could collect on site with our reservation number (which obviously she gave to me).

VERY excited!!
We get married at Disney at 1pm the same day and we have booked in to Tony's town square for an evening meal... finish the day off with MNSSHP - PERFECT

This will be our first MNSSHP, too. We are going Sunday, 9/30 and have an ADR at Liberty Tree Tavern at 6:30. I am going to keep calling and see if I can get it earlier. I was only stressed because our original ADR was at the Wave at 5 PM. So I thought my stress about the party was all gone but now I'm terrified of a huge crowd on 9/30. Sigh...this is when I hate being a Type A person! LOL!

Can someone point me to any threads or give advice about MNSSHP for the following:
1. When/how to get wristbands (can one person get the bands for whole party)
2. What's best to do first?
3. Most concerned with seeing 7 Dwarves - any pointers/tips?

1. After 4:00p, wristbands can be gotten both inside the park (usually near the Hub), and near the entrance gates. I believe everyone needs to be present.
2. See 3.
3. The 7Ds have the most consistently long line all night. Recommend you get in line for them 6:00p or 6:15p at the latest. While they don't appear until 7:00p, you should be in a good position to be done with them soon after and not waste a long queue wait during party time.

I agree you should attempt an earlier ADR time. We typically do something like LTT no later than 4:30p. If you can't do better than 6:30p and the 7Ds are important to you, I'd scrap the ADR.

A couple of questions.

We are two adults going that have been before and are going for the rides and the fireworks, "atmosphere", it's on my 28th birthday, etc. We have seen the parade before but will most likely skip it as it wasn't quite for us so to speak. What is the parade route so we can plan the rides that we want to do and not get stuck behind it or stuck in the crowds of it? Also we have a reservation at Ohanas at 5pm, will that give us plenty of park time for MNSSHP? Thanks.

If you're going for rides and fireworks only, then you'll have plenty of park time. The parade route for MNSSHP is the same as for MSEP and the afternoon parade. I believe it starts in Frontierland by Splash, comes down to Liberty Square, on to the Hub and down Main Street. Simply put, Adventureland is cut off from the rest of the park during the parade--all the rest are accessible to each other.

Thanks so much for the info!!!

If you are going to MK during the day and doing MNSSHP, when do you put your costume on? Has anyone worn their costume all day?

I do not believe adults are officially allowed to until after 4:00p. Might be one of those gray areas in the eyes of CMs.

I believe 4pm for adults is correct. I think I have seen a few posts that people were let into MK with just their party tickets a couple of minutes before 4, but it definitely is not the norm.

DD always requires an extensive hairdo for MNSSHP, so we always have to go back to the hotel first, but if you don't require anything other than a quick change of clothes, I suggest renting a locker. Just don't forget to get your regular clothes out of the locker before leaving the park.

Thank you very, very much for the info! Very helpful!!!!:thumbsup2

Just an FYI- I called disney and spoke with a CM who searched her database and spoke with 2 different supervisors. None of them could find any "official" statement about adults not being able to wear costumes before 4pm. All they could find was info about scary costumes, and costumes looking too much like real disney characters (and posing for photos with guests).
They told me they didn't think it would be a problem. But we are going to bring a change of clothes just in case.

Has anyone ever actually worn a costume before 4pm? Looking for 1st hand knowledge, not opinion. Has anyone ever seen adults in costume before 4pm on Oct 31st?
thanks

Anyone think I should purchase advance tickets for the 21st of September's party? It's on a Friday. Is there any chance it will sell out or should I not bother until we arrive... if you do purchase far in advance, you get charged for shipping, is that right?

Last year, we also went on a Friday in September and just waited and bought them from the concierge at the hotel a couple of days beforehand.

My family wore costumes all day at MK starting at like 9am and we had CMs making positive comments all day about them.

I know I have read in past years they have a sing outside the gates saying it.

We've bought our tickets for 10/14, 10/16 and 10/18. (Oct is always a splurge for us!) Still trying to talk DH into Pirates League before a party!

A couple of years ago the only ADR times I could get were right after 3pm, we were able to get in in full costume with no problems
