I agree. I've read a lot of posts that said that they were going to be charged as much as $15 to have their tickets shipped and when I called and bought our tickets the CM automatically said that the only option right now was to have the tickets shipped (will call wasn't available). I was a little surpised about her response because I know that many here stated that they were able to buy tickets and have them placed on will call. I then asked about the shippng price and the CM stated that shipping was free unless I wanted to have the tickets shipped FedX

I ordered several sets of tickets yesterday...at different times of the day and they all were a $5 charge to ship.

omg!!!!! i called my ta to tell her about the tickets being on sale and she said that as far as she knew they were not but would keep checking. now i know for a fact that they are on sale both halloween and christmas and i dont want to bother her again. i already gave her permission to buy them for me so i cant very well go ahead and buy them myself without calling her and telling her. i dont want to step on any toes or be a pest but omg i am losing my mind. lol i am trying to think positive. it will all work out in the end.

I had the same issue... except I contact my TA thru email... I emailed her, the as soon as I knew about the tickets being released, she said they had heard they were released but didn't have the information yet. Said she would email me with the info once she had it... I waited... she sent the info, I authorized payment told her I wanted 2 adult tickets for Sept 11th.... and haven't heard anything from her since. I sent her another email to remind her what I wanted and to confirm that I had authorized payment.... nothing! I too don't want to be a pest but am going out of my mind waiting!!!! Can't purchase them on my own now or I may end up with double....

We also have a TA and I kept waiting on her to call/contact me today about the tickets because I knew that they were going on sale, but she didn't. I didn't want to bother her because she's always super busy and I already ask 100 questions lol, so I just called Disney myself and bought them. I wasn't really afraid that the 9/11 party would sale out, I was just anxious and wanted to get it over with.

Wish I had just out and out bought them... will be attending the same party as you...

As far as the TOT 10-Miler affecting the MNSSHP's for the weekend - I think the racers will be split between Sept. 28 and Sept. 30!!

I think Sept. 28 will be busy because many runners will get into town, go to packet pickup, then need something to do that night - also Sept. 30 will attract runners that won't be arriving until the day of the race, they might sleep in the next morning and not go home til Monday so that gives them something do to Sunday night.

So I think each party that weekend will have some runners at them - but don't worry too much - runners are a very nice group of people in general

we have enjoyed the party for several years on this weekend (sunday)

last year's event was more crowded than any other year we've attended but we'll still be back the same day this year.

Does anyone have experience with crowds on the first party of the year? I bought tickets for 9/11 and was just wondering what the crowd level might be. I know predicting things like this are hit and miss, but with the Labor Day holiday being the weekend before, I would think that the crowd level might not be to bad (think I read that one year the first party was held around the 4th,which was Labor Day weekend, and it sold out!!!) We are going reguardless, but I don't want to be packed in like sardines!!!

Does anyone know how bad it gets for crowds on haloween night, we were in magic kingdom for Christmas day just gone and it was closed as it was full but it did not seem that bad, do they have a limit on the number of people and is it less then the amount they let in during the day?

I dont know anything about MNSSHP. Thinking about booking an Oct trip.

If I wait to buy tix when we get there (I do a room only booking and dont like to buy any tix until we get there in case we have to cancel our trip)....can they be "sold out" or are they never sold out but just more expensive? I dont care about them being more expensive, just would not want to get blocked out of having tix.

Yes, some nights will sell out in the literal sense of no more tickets available. Usually Halloween Night sells out and often the last night will sell out.

Our flight lands at 4pm. will we have time to take ME, check in and be at Magic Kingdom by 7pm? our DGD's are night-owls so being up late is not a problem...I just want to make sure we will still have enough party time.

Can you do most of the character meet and greets (especially Flynn & Rapunzel and the dwarfs), castle show, parade, dance party's and trick or treating in one party? we do not plan to ride any of the rides as we will have another full day at Magic Kingdom. Just worried we won't get to do everything we want at only one party with lines and crowds.

keep an eye out here on the boards. Those that do the party earlier will post scan of map that outlines where popular charactars are located.

you need to prioritize what's important to you and go from there. The 2nd parade is far less crowded. Last year we finally decided to line up pre party for 7 dwarfs at approx 6:30 pm and it still took an hour until it was our turn but at least we got the pic!

Took the gamble and got tickets for Halloween night so can not wait, have to pick tickets p at park as unlike other uk posters on here I was told they do not post outside the us and Canada? I guess as long as I get them it does not matter to me.

Anyone else see where for Night of Joy Disney seem to be telling people with ADR's that they are clearing the park out at 5pm ready for 7pm start? I hope they do not do this with MNSSHP as we have made ADR's specifically at MK so we are ready for the party at 7.... I am hoping that Night of Joy being just two days is why they are doing it, as I would have thought doing this for MNSSHP on all these days would be a massive revenue hit (they would be essentially killing their restaurant trade those evenings at MK ) not to mention annoy and anger tons of people who have made plans to dine at MK before the party.....

I was thinking the same thing. We haven't got our tickets yet and there will be 2 of us going to it for the 1st time.
