MM Warriors Part Deux (As of October 27)

Lisa, you'd better watch out!! Tom will be strutin' all over town in those new pants! I just love to see Mike in black jeans. I think they look so sexy on a man LOL. Ok, sorry for TMI.
I found some of the acidopholis Dr. T recommends on sale at GNC for $6.50 so I got 2. They had 4, so I may go back tomorrow and get the other 2. I have only gotten the D-Ribose so far. It sets me back a pretty penny. But in a couple weeks, I'll be cutting back on it.
Lisa, when do you start to add in the other vitamins he suggests? There are a couple others he recommends, but not sure if I should wait until I see how the D-Ribose works. There is a revitalizing formula I think it's called, I want to get right away also.
Feeling better today. I don't want to stay up too late and screw up my sleep/wake cycle.
Decided to have my eggplant parm. Didn't brown any burger for it though. I think that is what makes it. So, I think I may brown some up and put in small zip lock bags and freeze it. That way I have it when I want it.

Diane, sorry they didn't call today. Still saying a prayer for you. Mike has been out of work since Feb. Not much around here job wise. I am just thankful I'm working as much as I am. I did lose a couple houses due to lay offs, but that has been it so far, thank God.

I'm trying that one first Kathy. I still have to get the Fatigued to Fantastic book, but I've been able to find out a bunch of info from what Lisa sent me and the internet. I was thinking of trying one thing at a time so I know what is helping and what isn't. :) I'm excited for you also. I hope you start feeling so much better. And we both get out of the way of trucks! :rotfl:

Nell, just wondering if you got your coupons yet? They went out in Monday's mail.

Yes, oh my gosh I'm an airhead! :faint: They came in yesterday and I forgot to tell you. Thank you so much! The sweetener coupons are going to help a lot!

Please don't be upset!! I was just wanting to make sure you got them. Most of them expire at the end of the month, so just wanted to be sure you got them sooner.
Don't forget the one truvia (if you can find a store that sells it) is for a free box.
Glad you can put them to use.
If you need coupons for ANYTHING else, please let me know. I have tons of coupons!

Nell, the tree looks so good!! You should put some decorations outside as well. Heck with the neighbors!!

:lmao: I just might!

I'm making a small garden beside our carport, and that is taking a whole bunch of work so I actually have no energy left for decorating! I'm trying to make it entirely of recycled materials. I got a bunch of tile leftovers from craigslist, and I'm using older boxes we don't need as weedblock. An old enamel pan as a fire pit. I'm not sure the pan is actually going to be large enough, but I'm not sure what else I can find. It's coming along! I can even get free mulch, the catch is that you have to get a whole dump truck's worth! That may be a little much. :rotfl: The tree company will drop it off, but a whole dump truck? Well, maybe everything but the mulch will be recycled. :)

That is great! Ask some of your neighbors if they may want some of the mulch also. They may be happy for some too! Don't forget to check with neighbor's that may be throwing good stuff out. You may be able to recycle it somehow.

Nell, thanks for telling me about vitacost. I will be ordering all my vitamins from there I think. They are well priced on the brand of vitamins the fatigued book calls for.
Did you order the book yet?

No, not yet. I'm going to wait until I have a little extra money. They have some great priced second hand ones on Amazon. See, recycling again!

I like vitacost. The supplements are good quality, but are less expensive than most places. Sometimes I get nervous with the really cheap places and am afraid of where they get the supplements made or how old they are.

The book is a really informative read. The brand Dr. T recommends is called Enzymatic. He developed them if I understood correctly. All the money he gets for them goes directly to charity. Here is a link to his website. May help you a bit until you get the book.

There is a question/answer part you could do. After answering the questions, it tells you what you should start taking. I am starting one at a time, like the D-Ribose for a couple weeks, then adding in the next. That way if there is side effects, I'll know which one it is.

Ok... My recommendations are way too many supplements! Is is supposed to be in the order of most to least important though. The Ribose is second, the first is that vitamin powder. I would have to rob a bank to get all of them. Then our chief of police would be after me!

Well, I might be heading to bed shortly. I'm tired today!

Opps, read it wrong. The three stars are the most important. I'll have to go over it again.

Kathy: I take the vitamin powder, the ribose, the Acetyl L-carnitine and the CoQ10. I don't take Adrenal Fatigue whatever it was called because it felt like it was too stimulating for me. I tell you, I felt like a new person within 3 days and without the ribose I was hurting. I'm having it in my tea now - great suggestion!

Thanks Lisa. I just can't understand why I'm hurting. My leg was/is really bad today. Last night I kept waking up and stetching my legs. They were so stiff. I kept getting charlie horses. Maybe that's why my leg is hurting today. I can barely get up and down the steps.
I am going to try the revitalization kit and the b-complex. Do you think I need to use the enzymatic brand, or any brand ok? They are alot cheaper on vitacost, but some are still pretty expensive. I have spent almost $50 on the ribose and this is only my first week! But if it helps, I'll pay it.
Great minds think a like. I just had my 3rd dose in my tea just now LOL. I was thinking of doing the pills, but not sure how many of them would make up 5 grams. I know the powder, the 2 level teaspoons is 5 grams. I could always measure out the pills. Just take them apart and fill a teaspoon LOL.

Gee, Kathy, I just don't know about the other brands. I would compare ingredients and go for it if it's basically the same. Another thing that has stopped me from being knocked out my muscle pain is my Bowen Therapist. I only have to go once every few months. Whereas a trip to the chiropractor would help if I my back seized up, but it would take me a week to get better, Bowen works for me in one trip. It's virtually painless, gentle and like a miracle. Google Bowen Therapy and read about it. It started in Australia. My Dad was nearly unable to walk with foot pain (he loves to fish so that was awful for him) and he's almost cured after a few treatments. His neighbor is up out of a wheelchair after seeing my guy.

I will google it for sure. I have a friend who does massages. She does the deep tissue ones. She is really good. I may have to make an appointment with her. I have the option of going to her, or she can come here. I am thinking if she comes here, no one is allowed in the house but she and I. It will be nice and quiet then LOL.
