So I have heard Mondays are NOT a good day to head to MK.
If you had to pick between a Saturday or a Sunday which would you choose and why?
We are going March 31-April 8,2017

I'd have a look at the Easy Disney web site crowd calendar for your dates to see which is the recommended park to visit.

I've never noticed a pattern difference where I could say "Every Monday is like x and Thursday is like y". Doesn't work that way. Day of the week has almost no meaning to me...except how many more days until we have to go home. It's much more about time of year than day of week.

I agree with previous poster. I live 3 hours away and go often. I never go by what is said about what day is "better". I will say weekends tend to be more crowdwd with locals that go then because they work all week. However to start saying Monday over Saturday more crowded, I seriously doubt that and would not go by that

We avoid MK on Mondays when there are local school holidays. We went one year on a Monday, not realizing that a lot of area schools had the day off, and MK was a complete madhouse! DD was 3 at the time and we thought it would be fun for her to ride the ferry instead of our usual method of arriving by bus from our resort. Big mistake! We waited in line to board the ferry for over 45 minutes (the monorail line was just as long) and once we got to MK, it was packed so we grabbed a snack and hopped over to Epcot for the rest of the day.

SUNDAY definitely , it is a green day, Saturday is a Yellow Day and Monday is a red day..worse park to visit that day.

We have followed this every visit and found it to be good for us.

where did you find this information please?
I go by kennythepirate.com crowd calendars, I plan my complete trip around this calendar. Has always worked well for us. You do need to check the month you are going to make sure there are not additional events that day.

Thursday, Tuesday, and Sunday are typically the three best MK days. Saturdays are generally the busiest day of the week, Wednesday and Friday have EMH crowds, and Monday has the dreaded "start of the week" crowd.

Crowds overall vary from month to month, and it's crowded enough even on slow days - but those three days are usually the best options out of the week.

easywdw has excellent crowd calendars, though you'd have to go back and look at last April's, as next year isn't up yet.

You definitely should pay attention to the crowd calendars when they come out. The end of your trip is getting into the beginning of the pre-Easter rush, so, for instance, the two Saturdays you're there could be completely different.

Its not up yet. I know because I have been stalking the easyWDW's website waiting for January to be posted. :)
