MK on Saturday?

Following the theory that you attend the park that had EMH the night before, we would be going to the MK on Saturday in June. I know Monday is historically busy for MK but what about Saturday?!

We went on a Saturday in the slow season and it was insanely crowded ! I think what you have to look at also is if there is Spectromagic that night, the crowds increase A LOT if that's the case

I've experienced both busy days and wonderful days by visiting MK on a Saturday. In the off-season, it seems the weekends there are more crowded.

We tried it in "off-season"...
NEVER again. It was insanely packed as someone else posted. This trip, NO MK on Sat.

We went to the MK on a Saturday in June last year, the 18th, and it was the day after a night EMH. The park was the least crowded we had seen it all week. We had low wait times all day.

Wen't on two successive Saturdays last trip. Was dead the first one, was crowded the second (due to one of those 3 day weekends)

We try to avoid MK on Saturday and Monday if at all possible. I think it is busier because of people taking long weekend trips plus locals come in over the weekend (if I lived close enough, I would too).

We were there June 2005 and went to MK Saturday after EMH the night before. It was great! The smallest crowds of the week. This was the last Saturday in June.

I don't find the MK that much busier on Saturday until later in the day when people arrive for Spectromagic and Wishes.

This was in off season mind you, but I actually found Saturday to be one of the better days. I was there early and me and DS5 walked on pretty much everything for the first hour or two, then maybe 5 minute wait (max) for everything else. We did it in this order Fantasyland, Toontown, Tomorrowland and Adventureland.

I would never ever go on a Monday again. We went one Monday in May...very busy.

Saturday in MK can be insane at night, since many times that is one of the few times of the week that Spectro is shown. I've also heard that many locals go to MK on Saturday.

We had 2 bad Saturday nights to speak of:

- October 2004, (9th?), Columbus day weekend - had dinner with DW at the California Grill, wanted to see 10pm Wishes - was finished dinner at 9pm, jumped on monorail and was in the MK by 9:30, shopped a little on Main St. We could only walk as far as Casey's, then the crowd became impenetrable! Stood against a fence near the Plaza, had a fairly good view. When it was over, crowds were being diverted offstage behind the Plaza to help ease the crowds on Main st.

- December 3, 2005 - worse than the October trip, but we were already in Fantasyland, I managed to find a decent spot against a fence under Tinkerbell's flight line on the bridge to Tomorrowland. Wall to wall people - we took our time leaving. We even waited for a bit in Town Square to let people leave.

and another I just recalled, not quite as bad:

- June 11, 2005, me and DS14 - spent the day in Epcot, saw Illuminations at 9pm, jumped on the monorail to TTC, jumped on ferry to MK, walked into MK at 10pm just as Wishes started. Stood near water fountain in Town Square, when Wishes was over, watched thousands of people leave. By 10:30 we were able to sit at the curb to watch the 11pm Spectro. if we weren't so tired (it was our first day, had a 6am flight!) we would have stayed for the just announced EMH hours that night.

We went to the MK last June early on a Saturday morning. The park was pretty quiet for the first few hours.....as is almost always the case early in the day. We managed to get a lot done before the really big crowds arrived later in the morning.
