MK dinner reservations and MVMCP

I know that you have to be out of the parks by 7 pm if you don't have tickets to the MVMCP (not going this year), but if you are in dinner at Tony's in MK that starts at 6:50 pm, I assume you will be allowed to stay at least for your dinner? Can anyone confirm?

I know if you try to make a reservation for 7:10 pm it says you have to have a ticket for the special event.

You will be allowed to stay and enjoy your meal at your own pace, but when you are finished and ready to leave the restaurant you will be escorted to the gate by a CM. Make sure you pick up any snacks or souvenirs PRIOR to your meal as you will not be allowed to make a purchase after 7pm without a wristband.

Thank you, that's perfect. We just want to end our stay with a last evening meal at Tony's. We've been to the MVMCP numerous times, and we do not want to "sneak" in, we just want to have a dinner at MK. Thanks so much for your help.
