MK Barber Shop???

I read somewhere where you can get a haircut off of Main Street in MK - is this true and if so where is it and what is the cost - DH was hoping to get a trim while he was there - thought it might be fun. Thanks for any info you have

It's $15 for adults, $12 for kids. Color and pixie dust included no extra charge if you want it.

They cut both men and women and they're open 9-5.

Try to get there early since a line does form fast and they only have 2 seats.

As you walk under the train station, stay to the left side, go past City Hall, and the Fire Station. It'll be tucked in a little corner next to the barn doors.

My kids get their hair cuts every time we go and they always get tons of compliments. It's the highlight of their trip.

We took my youngest son for his first haircut, and for no extra charge he received Mickey Ears with First Haircut on the back, a certificate and a lock of his hair wrapped up in tissue. Well worth $14. Oh yeah, it was a great haircut too, and Michael the Barber was so sweet with him. He gave him tons of stickers before hand and gave me extras to take with me. It's my very favorite Disney World memory ever. Luckily I was able to get it on video.

I got my 2 boys their haircuts there. One got his colored red with sprinkles, the other blue (they even put hidden mickey's on the back of their hair with color), that was one of our fondest memories. We are definitely doing it again in february!!

I'm planning on taking my then 15-month old for his 1st haircut in Sept. I can't wait! My DH and BIL's make fun of his "baby mullet" but I just have to wait until we get to Disney to have it cut. MIL is threatening to take him now, but I know she wouldn't do it.

We took DD there for her first hair cut and it was worth every penny. Well, a couple of days later DH and DS decided that they needed to get a trim. DH left with pink hair (pretty funny for a macho firefighter) and DS left with purple hair. The attention they got all day was great and DH said that it is the best haircut that he has ever had.

Last week while talking to my family about planning our upcoming trip, we were discussing what we were going to do first at MK and DH piped up and said..."I'm getting my hair cut first!", then DS said me too, and DD also said me too....so I guess we know what we are going to do first at MK!! We will meet up with the rest of our family later.

I've been waiting to do that for a while. I'm trying to grow my hair out tho and don't really want it cut, do they do trims? Also, what colors do they offer, i'm 15 so i want something totally rocken!

Colors? Let's see....
the kids have done:

blue one side and green the other side
purple and green streaks all around
yellow and green side by side
flourescent green glow in the dark (great on dark rides especially HM)
white and blue streaks
yellow and blue side by side and streaked

Another quick question - has any adult ever gotten a haircut with pixie dust - do you think a grown 33 year old woman would look silly or no?

My dd will be getting her second 'going back to school' haircut there in two weeks. We love it. She only gets a trim but that's all she needs. I won't need it but I'd love some of the pixie sprinkly. We'll see. But it is a highlight for us.
