OMG, I didn't even realize that I'd done that! Pun NOT intended - but funny! I did that the other day, too - I was telling a friend that I was a bit irritated when I ordered "pillow shamS," but only received one. I said, "You think you'd get two, right? Not in this case." He thought it was rather amusing. Anyway, the colour is "Cup of Cocoa" - a midtone beige. The window frames are "Cottage White" and the carpet is going to be "Cinnamon Twist" - the same shade of beige, but with flecks of off-white and black.

Okay, lets have a Buh Bye party for "notsure".

I finally saw Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix in IMAX a few weeks ago!

OK. I am posting one time because I can't use my user name as I know many of you and am too much of a coward. My DH was reading over my shoulder and could not believe what he was reading.

Some of this is so wrong. (I will not post your name), you may be a nice guy but from what I understand you are married with children. Do you think it is appropriate to be posting so much, every night into the wee hours of the morning? What about all the innuendo with some of these posters, at least one of which is only in college?

I am not the morality police but this just seems odd to me. Another poster's DW recently found PMs he had received and it caused real problems in their marriage. For the sake of your wife and children, this is NOT APPROPRIATE. It is creepy and weird. Especially when you post about all of the PMs and MSN chats and everything else. I've seen you post until 3 in the morning then start again 4 hours later. Not normal.

I do post here often and enjoy the banter. But this is just too much and I had to say something and get it off my chest.

Um ok, if you post here often then why be anonamous? Everyone who posts often here likes each other. I think that you are a troll and if you are so bothered by what is posted and who is posting then don't come back!

This kind of stuff amuses me because it's so dumb it's stupid. Makes me laugh. Sounds like your room will look very nice.

The maternal unit and I are going to hit Target and the curtain outlet tomorrow to see about getting some little things...I want the black wrought-iron Eiffel Tower lamp with a red shade that I saw at Target, a black carpet runner for the high-traffic area, decorative curtain rods...just some stuff to go in there. And we're doing black shades. I can picture it in my head already. I'll post pictures someday when it's all done.

And no, never saw Pirates 3. I figured I'll just buy it when the DVD comes out. I have the other 2, so I have to get the 3rd.

How would any of you feel if you came across a discussion board that your SO frequented and found things like the male poster I am referring to? How would you like it if your husband was sitting for hours on end, publicly posting overtly flirtatious statements online? Constantly and , calling other women pet names, etc. This is not innocent fun, and you all are deluding yourselves if you think it is. Imagine how you would feel if you saw that.

And this isn't "support for a friend". I have seen so much inappropriate posting in public, I cannot imagine what goes on in the PMs and MSN chats he is always referring to.

To the male poster with the city in your name: spend some time with your family. This behavior is just creepy and wrong.

Honestly, unless you are his spouse this is absolutely none of your business. Again, if you do not like the subject matter, do not open the thread. All of this talk is in good fun. Personally, my spouse knows my screen name and can read my PMs and my posts any time he wishes. He also sits next to me in the evening when I am on MSN. How do you know that this gentleman doesn't have the same relationship with his spouse? You are making a lot of assumptions based on what you perceive as fact. Please, if you truly take exception to his behavior than take that to PM and do not waste our time by trying to stir up trouble here.

I'm not sure how any of what someone else does is your business? You've said your peace, take it to PMs. I'm not sure what you are trying to accomplish by posting here. None of us care. If you don;t like it, move on, don't read it, use the ignore button. We have some nice features here on the DIS you know.
Seems to me that you have more of a problem with what your DH read than anything else. My DH has no problem with any of this. He's read over my shoulder before and just laughs at us. And like Squiddy, a lot of the times I'm on the lap top MSNing next to him while he's watching some sports that I'm not interested and we are both happy!
