So, anyone have anything good planned for the weekend?

I'll be headed over to the other coast as soon as school is out today. There is a game at the stadium Saturday, so me and DH are working. Not even sure who they are playing, but I don't think it's a real game yet. Is anyone here a Dolphin fan? Sometimes I come across merchandise or I'm able to get autographs I could care less about. We are all Patriot's fans here.

Tonight I've made dinner for everyone in the courtyard. Looking forward to going back, even though it's just for a few days. I think I'm going to stay until Monday because Big Love's season finale is Sunday night and we don't have HBO at home. lol

OMG, I didn't even realize that I'd done that! Pun NOT intended - but funny! I did that the other day, too - I was telling a friend that I was a bit irritated when I ordered "pillow shamS," but only received one. I said, "You think you'd get two, right? Not in this case." He thought it was rather amusing. Anyway, the colour is "Cup of Cocoa" - a midtone beige. The window frames are "Cottage White" and the carpet is going to be "Cinnamon Twist" - the same shade of beige, but with flecks of off-white and black.

I finally saw Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix in IMAX a few weeks ago!

We know one another's passwords. He knows about this thread & often reads it or I read it to him.
Both of us know the passwords to one another's email accounts.
The gentleman in question has emailed & PMed me & all of the communications have been strictly 'G' rated. His style is 'flirty' but never obnoxious or lurid.
Granted, I have been upfront that I am no looker & not a nubile young filly!
~Rather I am a more 'voluptuous' sort

As Squiddy says, we are all adult, mature people here with a wicked sense of humor.
If anyone of us felt uncomfortable with any poster I am sure we'd be forthright & honest enough just to say to that poster, 'Enough!'
As to whether the gent's wife objects--who knows? I don't.
For all I know she has access to all his emails & PMs just as my DH & I have with one anothers.

The maternal unit and I are going to hit Target and the curtain outlet tomorrow to see about getting some little things...I want the black wrought-iron Eiffel Tower lamp with a red shade that I saw at Target, a black carpet runner for the high-traffic area, decorative curtain rods...just some stuff to go in there. And we're doing black shades. I can picture it in my head already. I'll post pictures someday when it's all done.

And no, never saw Pirates 3. I figured I'll just buy it when the DVD comes out. I have the other 2, so I have to get the 3rd.

That's what we're doing this weekend! Well, tomorrow morning...my mother and I are going to her friend's place, then we're headed to the AAA office to speak to a TA. Then breakfast to celebrate!

Thanks! I LOVE decorating - it's a lot of fun. Unfortunately, I also have expensive taste.

I think I heard Pirates 3 would be out around Christmas, but don't quote me.

Oko, I am posting here at the risk of raising the trolls up. Out of respect for this thread and my friends that post on it, I have been staying away for days with the hopes that the trolls would leave but from the supportive PM's (yes, awful Satanic PM's! ) I have been receiving -- some of which may or may not have even come from people of the female persuasion -- it is very apparent that that approach did not work. Even when I was not here, the trolls still wanted to post about me for some reason.

I do not plan to address their comments (except one which I will cover in the next paragraph) because I don't need to and to do so will just feed the trolls further. I am satisfied with the way I take care of my wife and family and I am satisfied with the way I treat the people on this thread, the people that truly are part of the "Nut family" that I love. Everyone of them knows they may PM me at anytime -- using their real username -- if they have concerns and I will treat them with dignity and respect.

The one comment (two actually) I will address is the one about MSN and PM's (and -- just to cover my rear here -- emails and text messages and phone calls and letters and telegrams and smoke signals and psychic transmissions and any other form of direct "hidden" communication one wishes to think about).

Let me say that I think it is very sad that someone thinks a message has to be dirty just because it is private -- in my case, as others have said, my private communications (which may or may not have happened) have not been of that type. It could be that we shared clean things in said communications that I did not wish to post on the open thread because they were private, not because they were "dirty". It could be that these were the times I provided a shoulder to lean or to cry on or they did for me. It could be that these were the times when I shared CLEAN pictures of myself and my family and they of there's. It could be that these were the times when we chose to vent about our kids or a spouse or a job (and did not want to do so publicly) or, the inverse, to brag about our kids, spouses, and jobs. It could be that those were the times we discussed our fears, wishes, hopes, and plans -- none of which we would want to post publicly. This is already WAY MORE justification than the trolls deserve so I will stop here but I'm sure I could list several more examples.

Finally, let me say that I appreciate all of the supportive comments and PM's I have been receiving. Last Friday's birthday greetings from you all (after the first troll had made his or her appearance) and the supportive statements you have made over the last 9 or 10 days are from your all's hearts and I appreciate it and one would think it would send a signal that everyone here (well, the friendly posters) does enjoy each other's company.

That is all (for this public post). I may or may not be PMing people too.

Pretty good...moving in with my mother, which may or may not be a good idea. I guess we'll find out. And planning a trip to Disney with her and her friend. We make arrangements tomorrow.
