You sailed out of Barcelona, all around the Mediterranean Sea, and you didn't make it to Greece? :confused3 I think you need to ask for your money back! :rotfl2:

You do realize you're confusing me, don't you? I need to go look at a map. Or a globe.

Ok, folks, I'm out of here! DS11 has guitar lessons in less than one hour and I am still at work (though obviously not still at work). That is, I am at the noun but not at the verb.

That post made me sleepy...grammar....blah. Ttyl Roberto.

PJ! See what a good friend I am? I signed back on just to lessen your confusion.

Greece is east of Italy so it is quite possible that your cruise ship did not go any further east than Italy. I thought you had told me, well before you left, that Greece was part of your cruise but maybe you didn't say that or maybe you just thought it was at that point in time.

Ok, now I really am going. Bye all.

Spain, Italy, and France. Mostly Italy though. And now we're going to unpack. Later, Nuts.

Bye. The kids are going to bed. We're going to start planning.

Hey Michele! It's going good! How are you?

-- Rob

I'm tired but good. What a busy summer! I just found out Madeline (3) is allergic to milk AND gluten. So it's been a struggle just to plan meals, ya know? :sad2:

What's new with you?

Aw, that's too bad about Madeline. We have similar constraints with DS14 but, fortunately, none of us his are life-threatening allergies. He also seems to be outgrowing them a bit. You'll learn and adjust and it will become second nature to you.

Nothing too new here. All regular season baseball is over with for the kids and we are focusing on practices and post-season tournaments for DS9 and DS11. DS14 is done umpiring baseball games for the Spring/Summer and has started golf lessons to fill his time.

This computer hates the disboards. I think I might have mentioned that once or twice.

Having lots of fun. Miss you guys. See ya!:goodvibes

That's going to be a change isn't it?

Tomorrow is DS sax lesson, gas up the van, send off packages at the post office, go for my post op and see if my restrictions are lifted, take the dog to the kennel, come home and finish packing so I can get on the plane for Florida Wednesday. Fireworks on the 4th at Islands of Adventure. :thumbsup2

Why We Will Be Staying on Property and Using Disney Transportation Instead of Staying Off Property and Letting Louise Rent a Car.

Louise just got back from a trip to San Diego, California, to visit her daughter. She rented a car. She noticed the sign that said, "Last Exit United States" just as she passed it. Well, she figured there would be a turn-around somewhere close. No such luck. She ended up lost in Tijuana. No checkpoint going in. After driving around for a while, she flagged down a cab driver who had her follow him back to the border. She had to wait in a line for an hour and then try to explain to the border guard what had happened and why she didn't have a passport. He rolled his eyes and told her to go.

Gotta love Louise. Things like this only happen to her.

My question is, though - why the heck didn't she stop for a t-shirt? Or "other" souvenirs...? :rolleyes1

That sounds like something that would happen to me! :lmao: I haven't read about this Disney trip you're planning. When are you going? Where do you want to stay?

I'm off to an intervew. :scared1: So think happy thoughts, okay?

I just decided that it's time to plan a trip. I need something fun to look forward to. And the planning is fun as well. So my mother, her friend Louise (who is also my friend, too, I should say), and I are tentatively planning to hit WDW in November '08. I want to stay at either POFQ (which Louise says was a dump when her daughter stayed there, but wasn't it refurbed in the past year or so?) or Pop Century. I've stayed at both and liked them.

The three of us are also planning a long weekend/half-week in Las Vegas for sometime this winter, most likely. We all want to see the Beatles Cirque du Soleil show. Vegas will never be the same after we're done with it.

Good luck in your interview!

That sounds like fun! I stayed at Pop this March and I loved it. I haven't stayed at French Quarter but I stayed at Riverside and it definitely wasn't a dump. I would pick Pop though, it's just so fun. We're staying at Pop in December. If my sister's still working at Disney when you go you'll have to remind me to have her make your reservation for you because she gets 40-60% off the rooms depending on the season.

I just got back from my interview and...I got a job!!! :woohoo: I am going to be a hostess at Chef Mickey's. They offered me housekeeping, quick service food and beverage or hostess. I picked hostess and then they asked me if I wanted park or resort. They said at a alot of the in park restaurants the hostess stands outside at a podium checking people in. That sounded hot so I picked resort. Then they asked me if I wanted Chef Mickey's, Boatright's, or Yacht Club Galley. I think the other 2 would have been easier because they're not generally as croweded but I picked Chef Mickey's because my sister generally works in the Magic Kingdom at the grotto so this will be better for carpooling.

What a pian. They thought Jenna had Celiac a while back. Thanks God she doesn't, but is lactose intolerant.

I would be stopping at La Pharmacia! You can get antibiotics there for like $10.

I hope she didn't stop for the donkey show. :sad2:
