No.

:cloud9: Cloud 9 is more like it. I don't know about that packing, though. I'm at a standstill until my date gets closer. I don't know what else to do... maybe start crossing off things on my list and shopping for things I need like a mini flashlight, etc. :faint: It's too close, yet WAY too far away!

Ooooh, I can't wait to see how you tell them!

Hi Crystal. :wave2: Thanks for reading. The suspense is getting to me as well. I just want it to be the morning we leave.

your question about the pintrading starter set- I saw them at our local Disney Store, but they are the same price as the parks. If you want a Pal Mickey, I saw one almost half off at my local Disney store! It was $33+tax verses $65+tax in the parks. I am hoping to get one before we go...

So yes, I am infamous for my tangents, sorry.

I have a small surprise for my sister, a 'Ohanas breakfast. (She LOVES Stitch).

You could always send a letter to your kids from "Mickey", and tell them you just found it the morning you left, and hand it to them. Or make it sound like they are in trouble, that'd be hilarous!

Sorry, my side notes... Done now

disney chick, I love the idea of letting them think they are in trouble.... that is my evil side!!!! :rotfl: :rotfl:

No the grandkids don't know but they are only 3 3/4 and don't really know what disney is. They think it's a chanel on TV. Poor dears!!!!

Our son is getting married this June so I should be focused on the coming wedding but all I can think about is the Disney trip coming up in one year and two months!!!!

Lets hear some more!!!!

OK, Monica....I'm up to speed now you clever little secret keeper, you. You know I just got back but I'm already plotting my secret girls only trip for next September. Mimi will be a senior next yearand it's the last year she squeeks in under the "under 18" umbrella...she will be 17 next Tues the 21st. I have already enlisted my friend Ann and her daughter to go along...but it all hinges on free dining in 2007 but I want to put up my ticker NOW. How should I surprise Jamie with this news??? ;)

That depends on when you want to let them know. The day of? A few weeks before? It could be a graduation gift for the older one. Lot's of ideas to ponder. Hmmmmmmmm. Very interesting. Good thing you have lots of time to decide on this one.

Ouch! Lot's of kissing and stuff. Lots of it. Then you just mention it and roll over. :rotfl:

Hey Monica we will be in EPCOT on the 28th also...we are eating in Le Cellier at 7:30 but otherwise free. Maybe we can meet up.

Aviva still has no clue we are going. I surprised her Nov 5th on that trip but did not act like I thought she would. So wondering how this surprise will go...since again will be going to visit my SIL before we go to Disney. If it does not go well still have one more and that is we go on her bday.

We will be at POFQ.

I couldn't get a ressie for Le Cellier. So, we are trying Biergarten for the first time. That's at 5:25. We are getting to the park early and do the big hitters in the morning. Sounds like am would work out better because of ressies. Or later for Illuminations if you are staying for them. We can all watch together?

Hey Monica! I followed the siggie in your link over here from the riddle thread. Great pt! I can't wait until you tell them so you can tell us! You are going at a great time of year.

Avivasmom: I pm'd you.

HMHunters: Nice to see you over here. My mom says we were there when we were little at this time, but I have no memory of it. So, I'm considering this a first.

What a great idea to surprise the kids!! I've got to see how this goes.

Also we just got back and Biergarten is always on our list. We've made several trips to Germany and the food at this restaurant is very authentic. It will interesting to see what you guys think. The family that travelled with us was not very impressed with German cuisine, but we love it.

I recommend the spaetzle (tiny noodles) with gravy, all of the salads, red cabbage (mostly sweet, but a hint of sour), and the black forest cake. The desserts are not extremely sweet and most have some sort of liqueur in them.

I hope you all have a WONDERFUL TIME!!!

popcorn:: Can't wait for more details...

Can you please write more? We're being so good over here waiting for you. A reward, perhaps?

And it doesn't look like we'll cross paths based on our itinerary. Bummer. Unless we go to MK on the 30th. But I might do Epcot. I don't know yet. We shall see!

Just poppin in to see if our "clever little secret keeper" has had a change of heart. Guess not. She still taunts and teases us. :sad2:

Monica - please look at what you're doing! Poor Susan is practically begging (and she is MomOf2 so can you imagine how her anxiety must be affecting her poor children?)

Please, throw us a bone. A hint, a clue...anything!

Oh, and have a nice day! :sunny:

I have a heart. A big one at that. And since you grovel so nicely I am sure there is something I have to share with you. So, give me a few hours and I'll add something. Things are coming along and falling into place.

:cool1: :cool1: I only have to wear my secret agent mommy disguise for 1 more week. :cool1: :cool1:

This will be the longest week of 2006. In the beginning, the 152 days seemed like forever. Then you just get caught up in life and that distracts you some. The last 30 days get here and you are like whoa, better start packing where did the time go? Now, I’m 97.2% packed, have just 1 or 10 more errands to run, and these 7 days can’t go by any slower.

Can you imagine if I told the kids now? “That’s gonna take f-o-r-e-v-e-r!” I’d hear them say. You know, they say that when they have to wait 5 minutes. So, I think the secret might be saving my sanity a bit from the constant, “How much longer now?????” whines.

I got very excited when the DME packet came. That meant the trip was getting close. We’ve never used DME and we still won’t. (record scratch)

DH rented a car. :wizard: Yep. He rented a mini van! Originally he was going to rent one for the day he takes the boys to US/IOA, but he can see it in my eyes, I want to be in control. You see, the one part of secret agent school I failed was How Not to Get Motion Sick He knows that I have to drive at all times. He likes it though. He always has a designated driver. He knows I am not a good passenger. Remember when we drove down last time? Yep, I did 87% of the driving. I slept when he drove. Once I had to deal with Malorie. She was tired of the car seat and didn’t want Grandma or Daddy anymore. So I had to suck it up, literally and be with her in the back. That was awful. Where was I………….oh ya!

Most importantly he knows how much of a hassle it’s gonna be lugging the stroller and our house around with us, and he remembers how easy it was last year when we drove having our car at our disposal. We had the back set up where you didn’t have to unpack the stoller and fold it down to fit in the car. We just picked it up off the ground as is, less one baby, and put it in the car. 1-2-3!

Can’t do that on Disney Transportation. You have to take everything out, even the kid, and divvy everything to anyone who can hold something, get your family on the bus, seated, and haul the stroller if you can figure out how to fold it while everyone is staring and tapping their foot and waiting on you. It’s a nightmare. It’s one of the things I loath the most. I think that is the cause of most couple’s quarrels. The next time you are in the park and you spot a couple fighting, see if they have a stroller. Most likely they will.

I have to back up some. I was searching for a rental car for part of our trip. He didn’t like the idea then and didn’t want to spend the extra money. But when he found a car for the whole week at around the same price he booked it. Why are men like that? :confused3

:Pinkbounc :Pinkbounc On to the good stuff! :Pinkbounc :Pinkbounc

We are going to take the kids to Dinner on Wednesday and tell them that we are taking their Grandma to the airport the next day and spend some time with her at the hotel. That’s all I have clearance to say.

The other big thing, is after these next 7 days my mission is up and I can finally relax and be the real me. I can share all my excitement with my kids. I can jump up and down with them because that is what we are going to do at 5am on Friday morning. :bounce: Asleep or not we are jumping. :bounce: Even if I have to hold them in my arms, we will be jumpin! :bounce:

Tim spent some timing working with the new video recorder. Hopefully we can get the big surprise on video and put it up here in my trip report. I am not missing filming that!

Now I already told you more than I was supposed to. The rest you really have to wait for. popcorn:: Thanks for reading and I’ll have lots more when we return. Several more sleeps and we'll be there! 5 more workdays and we'll be there!
