Went a few weeks ago had a great time but found things missing are the refubing them or what. Things missing were crab after the drops the pirate with the dirty foot and the parrot by him also 1 cat was missing.

yeah sounds like they are sprucing them up. They probably figure no one will notice if they just take a couple things at a time. Little do they know there are some of us who DO notice.
Sorry :(

When I went the fog where Davy Jones shows up was missing, but he was still talking. I personally LOVE that part so I was a wittle disappointed! :sad2:

I went on Sept. 24th and all the cats were there, but no crab. I noticed it right away lol, that's my favorite room!

Glad you posted this - 2 weeks ago, our daughter, 7 years old, noticed the pirate who dangles his foot down, and the cat, were both missing.

I would notice the dangling foot pirate because I always look up at him as we pass under. Sometimes his foot is wetter looking than others. :)

No crab last week, either.
I always notice that, too.
I love the storm area right after the beach with the missing crab.;)

Let's hope all the missing things reappear soon.:thumbsup2

I remember a few years back the goat in POTC and at BTMR were both missing, I thought it was a goat conspiracy or something!

I remember when we were there in may 2009 2 days of our trip the crab was there and then it was gone.

I look at it this way, they either take out a few items, or they have to shut down the whole ride for a month or two. I'll accept just taking out a few items :)

we had passes last year and one time Captain Jack's hand (at the very end of the ride) was hanging limp and you could see the metal structure by his wrist. we went the next week and he was gone completely, but his voice was still going. very non-Disney to let things like that happen.

I like your attitude! I agree, I'd definitely prefer to miss a couple of favorite components than miss out on the entire attraction. The pirate with the dangling leg has been a favorite since I was little. It's funny how you get attached to certain scenes, isn't it? I can't remember the crab, maybe I would if I saw it. I'll keep a look out when we're there in Decemeber!

Does the pirate with the dangling leg at DL have the gross leg hair and mud too?? The one at WDW does and it grosses me out every time, but I always look :rotfl: It's like a car wreck!!

PoTC is my favorite attraction and I would hate to miss the whole thing just because they need to fix a crab and a hairy leg.

There's a light on this tree that won't light on one side. So I'm taking it home to my workshop, my dear. I'll fix it up there. Then I'll bring it back here.

Well if the pirate with the dangling leg is still out, then he's been out for at least a month - maybe longer? I noticed him missing back in September, and didn't see him on my last two October trips. There's a Pirates ride forum titled "tell no tales" that may have more info, sorry not sure if I'm allowed to post links to other forums  ?

One of the muddy pigs has a tear on its leg, been there for a very long time now, keep wondering if that will disappear for a little mending?

Ya, the pirate with the dangly leg was gone when we went last, Oct 9-11, we missed him but not that much, he's not our favorite.

One time we rode and the Jack that is hiding in the dress shop area, you could see the gap between his head and neck, that was a quick fix tho, he was back to normal the next day. :)

Actually what happened to the crab and I most assure you that I have this on good authoritay, that the crab was eaten by one of the hungry dead pirates, so as to keep up his strength so he could set sail on his next undead adventure!
The fog over Davey Jones just simply blew away from strong northerly gusts of wind, I hear they were as strong as up to 60 miles per hour and then some! WOW! Gotta love Ma Nature!
Now the hairy legged pirate, was to be swimming in a race later that day, and he yes he, is the originator for the idea of shaving before very important swimming contests. Seriously, just do a little research his name is Jean Laffeat! Oh sorry the first, so Jean laffeat the first ... he wanted to make sure that I did not omit that part, for he likes how it sounds.
Then the kitty cat simply likes to travel to Orlando this time of year, it is good for her arthritis you know.
Captain Jacks limp wrist is well how can I put this politely, well let us just say that he likes all people so very much! And the goats, during this time of season, they all get together so as to head off to Buffalo for a world wide annual goat confab. I hear it can get pretty hairy sometimes at the convention center. The event is hosted by Disney, the Buffalo Tourism Convention Center and Hotel Hilton, no not that Hilton, the other one.
I believe that I covered everyone, if not, just let me know, for I will be more than happy to update everyone!
