And my friend Kristi is coming with me, who is also a lawyer - he has no chance - 2 lawyers?! They listed the Villanova show, then took it off the website a day later. I am hoping it wasn't 100% confirmed and that it shows back up. I haven't seen that guitar anymore - at any of the many shows I have been to lately. Don't worry.

Tinks - the expo wasn't a big deal last year. I think I was there 45 mins. and that was really pushing how long you could stay there with not much to do! I plan on going early on Friday - we land around midnight Thursday.

Well, I got the a-ok from my mom and sister--they are willing to watch the kiddos for the 4 days! SO--add DH (scott) and I to the 15K roster! Unfortunately the great airfare we found on Sat. is already gone--but I'm sure we'll find something! Do you guys have any meet plans??? We will be arriving late Friday night,a nd then leave mid-morning on Monday. Can't wait to meet all the wishers!!

YAY, Stephanie and Scott are coming!
So far, it looks like the WISH meet will be on Saturday at 4:30 pm at Earl of Sandwich at Downtown Disney. There is also a Wolfgang Puck Express near there, in case people want to pick up food over there. But, we'll meet at 4:30 at Earl of Sandwich. Hopefully, Anne or Mel will bring the WISH sign and I will bring the very nice leftover WISH nametags that Judy made for marathon weekend.
Also, after the race, the WISHers will hang around if possible near the FINISH line until all WISHers have crossed, and we'll try to do a group picture, and maybe even one with Minnie and Daisy Duck.
Hopefully, if I am wrong on the WISH meet stuff, someone will correct me.

Just in case, I saw a "code" mentioned for this AP rate. It's FDA, but 99% of the CRO people don't ask for it if you're telling them you're looking for the AP rate. They just quote you the AP rate. But just in case....

Well, I'm sending in our race registrations today --gotta get my DVC discount! Ha! I gotta save that $10--more money for that post-race coffee, am I right cam???? Anyway, looks like we're going to be staying at POP or another value (using all our DVC points Easter week)--any recs?? We've stayed at POP before but none of the other All-stars. Now if we can just get that darned airfare to go back down again!

I love Pop and have also stayed at ASMu. Pop has that beautiful lake, I love walking along it! DD and I will be staying there this trip, and I just switched from a AAA discount to an AP discount to save a little bit more money. Every little bit helps!

Stephanie - If you are looking for a deal, you can book All Star Sports through Anthony Travel for the hotel only. It is $85/night. I haven't stayed at that one (and apparently my last WDW trip was so long ago that I can't remember exactly which Value Resort I stayed at, all I know is it wasn't the Sports Resort) so I can't comment on what it is like.

My last WDW trip - May 1999. It has been too long!

Stephanie! Pre-race, too! Fortunately, that I can handle pretty cheaply bringing my favorite coffee & accoutrements from home. I am going to write myself a note to remember my caffeine infusion this time. If I show up at the start without that telltale hyper coffee smile, please be sure to have noticed where I can get emergency provisions!

Congrats to everyone getting great rates! Good luck, Stephanie, on finding a great airfare. Does Southwest fly direct from your airport to MCO? There are some great ding rates today. I just found my brother and his family $49 each direction PHL - MCO for mid-may when they had given up hope of putting this trip together.

Cam--yeah, SW flies from Little Rock, but for some reason getting to Orlando from here you almost have to sell a vital organ! The only good dings we get are for Phoenix and Portland (oh, and all those obscure TX cities). I think we'll end up flying in and out of Tampa and driving over--we've done that lots.

Gonna check out that Anthony Travel website!

Oh and registration is in the mail!!!!

Congrats to all getting AP rates. I booked a package with tickets so can't take advantage of the AAA discounts.

I have great airfare, DD and I $270 US return to MCO...non-stop. I keep checking the fares and that same flight right now is over $700 boy I can glad I booked when I did or we wouldn't be going.
