2. You must have a tic to watch from inside Epcot, but you can watch teh finish in teh parkign lot without one.
Scott, you're coming too?You know, this will be the third WDW race we've both been at. Think we can meet this time??

Hope it's okay if I throw my questions in here - Can spectators watch somewhere in the Boardwalk/Beach Club area? What time can you get into Epcot if you want to watch from there?
Yes, it follows the last 9 of teh marathon, to BW/BD would work. I think you can't get into Epcot 'til it opens at 9. FOrgot that we will be finishing mUCH earlier than marathon.![]()
Thanks for the reply Carrie! I will probably have my fiance wait for me at the finish line. He probably won't be able to watch at the Boardwalk and finish line.
Going to be tough. If tehy were on the stretch before BW, they'd have close to 2 miles. Depending on how fast you are.....I wondering something similar... Would my family ahve time to see us/cheer us at the Beach Club then get to Epcot for the finish??? If they drive??? I don't want to stress them out, but I would like them to see me acutally running during it...
Question for those who have done the Minnie before: How strict are the sweepers? Since the pace requirements are a 15-minute mile instead of a 16-minute one, I might be right on the cusp this time. Do they give you any leeway other than the amount of time it takes the last person to cross the start?
OK. I decided. I am doing the 15 K.
Right now I am at SSR. On the waitlist for BCV.
Do you think they will acutally sweep the 5K???
