Mini Golf? Fantasia Fairways?

We're looking into doing something different this year at wdw during our trip. We've never played mini golf there yet and was wondering about preferences of the different courses. A little background: we have 2 kids around "tween" age who have taken golf lessons for several years. Thanks!

What a coincidence - am I local and played the Summer Course at Winter Summerland today.

In order of difficulty, I'd rank as:
1. Fantasia Gardens (Fairway - par 72 if I recall)
2. Fantasia Gardens (Garden)
3. Winter Course @ Winter Summerland
4. Summer Course @ Winter Summerland

I play golf every Sunday. I am no pro, but I find the long course at Gardens aggravating. It's not easy! But they're all fun.

You can play a round at Fantasia, then go play at Winter Summerland for no charge the same day with your receipt (and vice versa). If you have an AP, it is half off every day, as well. The courses at WS are shaded, so are nice. Not too much shade at Fantasia, so would not recommend going at a peak heat time of the day. Wait times can vary. Today, we waited for about 5 minutes at 11am, but have previously waited for about 20.

That would be quite a deal! Sadly, though, the same day deal is for half price, not free.

I definitely suggest the Fairways course if your family is "into" golf. The course is like no other miniature golf course I've ever seen. It doesn't have the traditional obstacles and decorations, but rather is like a real golf course, just shrunken down to miniature. There are water hazards, sand traps, elevated greens, doglegs. My husband and oldest son (12 at the time) loved it.

For a more typical miniature golf course, any of the other courses would be about the same (people have their favorites, but they are all fun).
