Mingos in the Watah! What in the Wuhld?

Happy Thanksgiving to everyone!
I am thankful that I found the DIS, and to your's and Anita's trip reports.:goodvibes

Enjoy your quiet day today and a weekend with your family.

All those treats look delish but right now I'd  one of those cinnamon rolls. Ben and I always get those from MSB.:cloud9:

Happy Thanksgiving to everyone!!!

I saw several items in that montage that I wish were appearing at our Thanksgiving spread. LOL!

With all that I am cooking at my house right now, I would rather be eating Disney food.
I hope that everybody has a Blessed Thanksgiving!

Ok I just finished a HUGE breakfast just over an hour ago, courtesy of my Mom, and I'm totally drooling and hungry again thanks to your Disney food pictures...thank you! :thumbsup2

Have a very Happy Thanksgiving, MeMom, Jill and the whole gang :grouphug:

Hey, cinnamon is full of antioxidants, and since those are chock-full of it, I'd say your breakfast was plenty healthy!

I never knew you could go inside Caseys to eat breakfast! Thanks for the great tip!

Happy Thanksgiving to you all!!!! Those treats look awesome! (especially the cakes!)

I put a dash of cinnamon in my oatmeal and in my rice pudding. Healthy me. :thumbsup2
I'm pretty sure it offsets the sugar I put on both of them, right? ;)

We are thankful for DIS friendships, too. This is a good place, and we have met a lot of really nice people. :goodvibes

I didn't cook today, since I'm cooking Saturday, so yeah, a big plate of roast or chicken and some potatoes and green beans sounds really good. :thumbsup2

Hope you had a great day with your precious family!

Happy Thanksgiving!!!!

And to you and your mom, as well. :)

As long as someone else is making and cleaning up the mess, I am happy to eat wherever.

Next year, you'll be experiencing your first official 'together' Thanksgiving.

Such a bounty of Disney food!

Happy Thanksgiving!!

It makes me think about how much money I need to come up with to pay for all that Disney food, too!

Hope you have had a good day!

HAPPY THANKSGIVING!!!! We just finished hosting family on my husbands side. We have so much to be thankful for and hope all my DIS friends have a great day.

We hope you all enjoyed a wonderful day stuffing yourselves with good food and making fun memories with family and friends yesterday.

Would you like a little more Disney Christmas this morning to start off the official Christmas season?

HAPPY THANKSGIVING!!!! We just finished hosting family on my husbands side. We have so much to be thankful for and hope all my DIS friends have a great day.

So glad you had a nice day. :)

It was quiet here. I will be cooking our big meal tomorrow when everyone is home. I got a lot of chores done, and I had the Hallmark Channel on all day, so I got to see some Christmas shows and a Waltons Thanksgiving movie as I was working.

We're planning to see The Muppets Saturday, too, so that will be fun.

Of course I would love to start my morning off with some Disney Christmas! One of these days I'm going to get there for the holidays...until then I have to live through you and Anita!!!

Hope you had a great Thanksgiving! I think I'm going to go take a nap!! We braved BFriday and got all we wanted but I'm tired LOL!!!

A day late but Happy Thanksgiving! I am wondering how many here tried to make a version of the Earl of Sandwich's holiday sandwich for lunch with the leftovers? lol I did but it was no where near as good.

Happy belated Thanksgiving! Hope you enjoy your time with your family. I am resting today. I LOVE the Christmas pics! Can't wait to see the decorations in person soon! Jason had an idea about the boys' gifts. We talked with our MIL and we are both going to get the boys Disney gift cards so they can buy toys, popcorn, balloons to their hearts desire until the money runs out. It will be a lesson in money also. They need no more random toys.

Just popping in to say HAPPY THANKSGIVING everyone:rainbow::rainbow: Hope you are enjoying your special day.:goodvibes

We had a houseful this evening. Jill's family, Trent and a friend of his, Drew and a friend of his, and Jarvis were all here in and out at different times. Jill and John have gone to a movie now, Trent and his friend are in his room, Drew and Jarvis left, and the girls and I are watching Toy Story 2 as they fall asleep.

You will love it. :santa:

Maybe that nap gave you your second wind. Time for leftovers now? ;)

I don't think we could match the bread. The rest of the stuff, I think we could do, but there is no bread like Earl bread. And if there is, I need to know about it. :goodvibes

I agree about the toys. Kids have their favorites, and so many others are just 'stuff' that ends up all over the floor. Such a waste of money. Brooklynn is very happy with a box of crayons and some white paper. Throw in scissors and glue, and she's good to go for hours!

I got the girls each a dress and three tops, and I am going to let them pick out something in Disney World, too. Bella likes dolls, and Brooklynn likes stuffed animals, so if I had to guess, I'd guess that's what they'll pick, but who know? At least it will be something that they couldn't get here at home.

I fell a little bit behind! OOPS.
:rotfl: Bella's face is so funny with Mary Poppins. She was probably like... WHAT is that thing on her head?

MMM, beautiful food pictures. I love all the Christmas pictures! Are some of them from All Star Sports? I'm staying there for the first time in a couple weeks so I guess I'll be seeing some of that in person!

Hope yall had a great Thanksgiving!

You know I was nodding my head vigorously when you asked if we wanted a little more Disney Christmas.

Something like this:

::yes::

I ordered a new Mickey Christmas antenna topper for the car, and it came yesterday. It will definitely add some festive cheer to my drives each day. :santa:

Brooklynn is like Cooper. He would rather draw than do anything. He has a big pack of paper on our table and that is what he plays with 90 percent of the time.
Santa will be bringing lots of arts supplies too. We thought the Disney money is a good idea because they love so much at WDW. Blake loves the character cars and Cooper loves POTC and Star Wars. They can also buy the random light up toys, popcorn, balloons that catch their eye. Unless they run out of money. ;)

Hi Memom and family. I have been reading all of your past trip reports and feel like you are old friends. We are a family of 3 that loves our trips to Disney. I have such fond memories of going as a child and it is my happy place. We only get to go once a year, but when we go, we go big. We bought into DVC many years ago and it has really paid for itself. I am currently
passing my love of Disney to my 4 year old daughter Chloe. She is adopted from Vietnam and is the
best thing that ever happened to
me. My DH and I used to have fun
on our Disney trips, but they take
on a whole new meaning now. She
has nothing on Brooklynn and
Bella, but she has been with us for
less than 4 years and has been to
Disney 4 times and on a Disney
cruise :). We have stayed at BLT
for the last 2 trips due to her
obsession with the monorail. Oh,
how much money I could have
saved by just going and riding the
monorail around and around.

I just wanted to come out of lurkdom and say how much joy reading your reports has brought me. Your family is wonderful and they are very lucky to have a Memom like you. Your dedication to family is so special. I hope that
I can join in the fun.

Hope everyone had a blessed Thanksgiving!!!

Yes on the ASSports picture. If you get a chance, walk to the other two All-Stars, too, to see their trees. Each one is appropriately themed. We've stayed at Sports twice - once in the Surfs Up building and once in the Tennis building.

We ate our big meal yesterday. I think everyone stuffed themselves sufficiently with chicken and dumplings, potatoes, macaroni and cheese, dressing, green beans, peas, corn, cranberry salad, and rolls. ;)

I saw your antenna topper. I hope no one swipes it. That's the only bad thing about those decorations - a lot of people report them being taken. Maybe you could fit it on your dashboard somehow, if you have that fear. Do you have a Disney Christmas CD to listen to? I saw that Target had a cheap one. The Candlelight Processional from WDW with Phylicia Rashad narrating is awesome. I would love to have a Voices of Liberty Christmas CD, but I don't know if they have one. I'm going to check when we are there this time.

Art supplies are always a good bet for Brooklynn. Bella will color for a minute, but then she's off to something else. She's still a little young yet. Right now, Brooklynn says she wants a camera and make-up for Christmas. Jill asked Bella what present she wanted from Santa, and her answer was, "A blue one." She'll take anything. She was looking at the Disney Shopping site, and she saw several things she liked. She likes dolls and accesories for them. I think Jill ended up getting a Minnie Mouse shopping cart and a couple of the Princess baby dolls.

I love that you adopted from Vietnam! I really wanted to adopt again, and I almost did once. I had a ten year old 'picked out' from the waiting child list. I was just too poor at the time, though, and I knew he deserved to go to someone with so much more to give him. I will never forget wanting him, though. :sad1: I think my biggest regret in life is not having all the kids I wanted to have. I wanted at least 5. After my ex-husband left me pretty much high and dry with three, I did well just to keep our heads above water. Now that mine are grown, though, I really do regret not figuring out a way to get the money to adopt again. I love big families!

Funny that you mention your daughter's obsession with the monorail. Two grown women I know cough*Jill*cough*me*cough were talking just yesterday about how much we wanted to buy the monorail playset to put around our Christmas trees. ;)

You can absolutely join us in DIStown! :woohoo:
