Glad you had a great Thanksgiving. We rested yesterday and may go shopping in Pigeon Forge today. You can add me to the list of adults obsessed with the monorail.

Did you take any pics from this weekend?
You know what? I did not take one picture this weekend!

I set the camera out, but then I got busy cooking and playing with the girls and talking and listening to everyone who was in and out, and I never did get pictures.
Monorail obsessed here too. I do have the Monorail playset around my Christmas tree.
I will be looking at it again next month. I want the Contemporary for it to run through, too.
I've worried about it getting swiped, too. Hopefully, not. I have been lucky so far with the others, so I guess I will just keep my fingers crossed.
I have one Disney Christmas CD, but I would love one from the parks. Maybe, I will go browse on ebay for one...
The Candlelight Processional is a good one.
I have Baylor to thank for the Monorail set that I have to surround my tree that isn't going up this year.....

I remember the year that he just HAD to have it so we dragged that thing back on the plane....
He played with it one time.
Now it's mine.
I especially love it when I put up my Grandmother's old aluminum tree. Somehow it just looks so Epcot!
I want it - it just depends on how much it costs as to whether I will ever really own it.

The trouble is, I want it
and the Contemporary together. (Where is the greedy smiley?) I could put a Mickey wreath on the outside of the Contemporary.
I really wish that we had done it sooner -if we had, we probably would have adopted again. But, Vietnam closed soon after we got home, and China is a big huge mess!!!! We are both a little older and we really want to be able to do things for her (financially and physically) so we have decided to only have one. My biggest concern though with us being older is that later down the road she won't have a sibling for support. She is an only grandchild on both sides, so she won't have a big family in later years.
We bought her the monorail set last year - we asked if she wanted the castle playset, but no she only wanted the monorail one. She still plays with it quite often

She loves princesses (especially Belle), but her absolute favorite character is Thomas the train - i just don't understand - he's not even a Disney character
I am a buyer for a women's apparel chain - maybe i could be in merchandising for all the fun stuff in the DIStown general store
Thanks again for the warm welcome!!!
I'm sure she will have tons of friends to be close to, then, since there will be no siblings. And DIStown is full of young'uns, as you may have seen!
Yes, you can take care of clothes for DIStown. We will surely need to have some clothes!
I wonder if Charles would pass out if I quietly purchased a monorail to go around the Christmas tree for when we're living together...
I'll have to check Target for that Disney Christmas CD. Anything Disney AND Christmas is a must-have for me!
Charles would shake his head and roll his eyes at the monorail,
but he would not be surprised at all.
Maybe you can get a Christmas CD on your trip. Christmas is still going to be going strong when you get there, I think.

Hey MeMom! I'm back! Goodness, I was way behind! I broke down and bought a new computer and I will finish my classes and clinicals this week. So, that means a little more time to Dis. Not much though because now I have to start getting ready for state boards. Then I will be studying to get into the next step for Nursing school. I think I may be to old for all this infomation.

Anyway, I really enjoyed all the updates and seeing the girls. I hope everyone had a great Thanksgiving. And a even better Christmas! And speaking of Christmas we won't be making the NYE meet. I will be tied up with all my Nursing "stuff". So disappointed but it has to be that way. I look forward to seeing and hearing all about it through you report.
Gotta go hit the books....... Talk to you soon.
I am glad you have a new computer. We don't like not hearing from our friends for so long.
Thanksgiving was good. When Jill was packing up to go today, Bella thought we were going to the airport.

We had to explain that we have four more weeks, and of course, she doesn't know what a week is. I told Jill she may have to make a countdown calendar just for Bella, since she is asking about going every day!
