Mingos in the Watah! What in the Wuhld?

Have you taken care of that rumbly tummy issue now? What would your boys do if they saw you eating breakfast surrounded by some old 100 Acre Wood plush animals you had retrieved from the attic?

:lmao: I think it's safe to say that they would indeed think I had gone crazy

Great update MeMom! Thanks! I guess my 3 picks would be.....HM, SplashM, and BTMRR. Hope you get some rest! We will be busy moving Sarah. I'm tired already! LOL Have a great weekend!

Had to let you all be the first to know. It's official! We're going to WDW this trip to take DD back to school. Just made the reservations this morning. Staying at POP for 8 nights! :dance3::dance3::dance3: :woohoo::woohoo:

Finally all caught up! Had a lot going on around here lately. When I picked Hannah up from the sitter's on Monday she was nursing her left wrist. She jumped/fell off the top bunk in one of the kid's room. I didn't think it was anything more than a bad sprain but took her to the doctor anyway. X-rays were done and it turned out her wrist was broken! She now has a lovely Carolina Blue cast. Her BFF did the same thing to her left wrist right after school let out and she's getting her cast off next week. At least Hannah will only have hers for 3 weeks and then have a splint. You definitely fared better with the tiger than Hannah did with the bunkbed!

Those pictures of an empty MK were just what I needed to relax!

Two pink jellyfish for school were hanging from the edge of the table

I'm sorry the mental picture of this made me laugh so hard Alison asked me what was so funny!

I LOVE the picture of the castle, and the reflection pictures...so pretty!

Three attractions...I'd probably have to pick Pirates, Splash, and Haunted Mansion. I miss Splash Mountain SO much! I keep checking to see if it's going to be closed at all while we are there b/c I know that it tends to close for refurb in January/February. Even if it is closed for part of our trip, I'd be happy to just get a ride or two in, especially since Mike is coming this time, and he always does this really girly scream on even the tiniest drops. Cracks me up every time!

I have to share some excitting news...I'm looking into a little Christmas surprize for Lexi. :ssst:
I'm looking at booking the Christmas Memories package at the Gaylord Palms.
It's a gorgeous resort!
Lexi is a huge fan of the Dreamworks movies and she would flip if she got to meet the characters she has loved for years.
We would also get to see ICE!
We would arrive one day earlier and stay for 2 nights.
I plan on renting a car so we can get some shopping in aswell as be able to transfer to POP.
As we all know I am the worst at keeping things a secret from her (I get so excitted) but this one I am going to try my hardest at.
I can't decide if I want to surprize her at Christmas or wait til we land at the airport. :santa:

Lana, what are your dates? We're arriving at Pop on January 4th and if you're still there I'd love to meet up!

If you don't mind my asking...what part of Ohio are you from?

My DH was just offered a job at the University of Miami in Oxford, Ohio and I'm panicking because if we decide to take it there'll be all sorts of changes being that we are Canadian and this would be our first time living/working in the states.

Any and all information would be greatly appreciated...

Sorry Jill and MeMom...I just realized that I could have PM'ed TCKK instead of hijacking this TR!!

/
I love breakfast foods! Bacon, Bacon, BACON!!! Yuuummmyyy!
Unfortunately my DD11 is very picky and I think it would be a waste of $$ for me to pay for a CP breakfast, so I'm sticking with lunch. I fear that I will never be able to see Main Street empty... I guess I will just have to live out my dreams through your pictures. :thumbsup2

breakfast with pooh & the gang? so sweet.

my 3 picks for the day would be jungle cruise, pirates of the caribbean, & haunted mansion! my absolute faves!!

My three choices would be Pirates, Haunted Mansion and Big Thunder Mountain. :thumbsup2

Brooklyn's hair looks so very pretty, I really love it!! I still haven't seen Tangled, I really need to remedy that.

I hope you had a relaxing day today. :goodvibes

If I only could pick 3....hmmm well Haunted Mansion (of course), PeopleMover (love that ride), and Pirates!!! Of course I do want to see the new Tiki room (but that would be 4 LOL)

Loved your pictures and I have loved getting all caught up!!! SO much fun!! Especially Brooklynn's hair...so pretty!

I love that you explained about camp to the officer! (I would have sadly felt compelled to do the same.)

I have spent the afternoon/ evening in my bedroom. It is clean. My living room/ dining room is not...it needs vacuumed and the floors need to be polished...I knew if I sat in there, I'd have to clean. I just wanted the day off! (I did do a little laundry and a couple of dishes, though.)

My three - good thing you only have three lands - Pirates, Splash and HM...one from each land!

Love Brooklynn's hair - I think I said that before--maybe FB.

Hi, I don't mind you asking at all and I sent you a PM with the answer. :)

LOVE THE TODDLER TALK!! :) That was the sweetest video! What a great name for your TR!

Look what is happening across the lake.

disneysummmmer093.jpg

A cool (but very expensive) value resort is going up.

I LOVE seeing activity going on over there :thumbsup2

Good Saturday morning from Magic Kingdom!
disneysummmmer113.jpg

Ahhhhhhhhh!!! My castle :goodvibes I will be seeing this in aprox 68 days :yay:

We will have to watch for Edwin. I also think we might have to make a ressie at CP EARLY one morning (not this trip, but in the future) like that. That seems like a lot of fun!!

Bella likes eggs.
disneysummmmer121.jpg

Brooklynn does, too, but she uses a fork for hers. ;)
disneysummmmer122.jpg

This made me laugh....:lmao:.....hard!! :rotfl2:

TIGGER IS GOING TO EAT MY WAFFLE!!!! :scared1:

My three choices.....Peter Pan, my littles fave Pooh, and of course the Haunted Mansion!!

MeMom - I hope your nose is better!!

Once again girls I'm sorry I've been AWOL :rolleyes1. I've been a little crazy the last few weeks, months, year.... Have missed you guys!! :grouphug:

I love Brooklynn's hair! :lovestruc It is adorable, I can not wait to see what Rapunzel and Eugene had to say about it

My three picks would have been Haunted Mansion, Splash Mountain, and Pirates of the Caribbean. But that seems to be everyone's picks. So I'll pick Jungle Cruise, Haunted Mansion, and Splash Mountain just to be a little different ;)

Okay, my three if it's only the ones listed there: Pirates of the Caribbean, Haunted Mansion, Big Thunder Mountain Railroad. If we can cheat and say others not listed there: Space Mountain. ;)

Crystal Palace, as usual, looks delicious and so pretty! We sat at that same table last time we ate there.

Can't wait to see/hear about your meet and greet with Rapunzel and Flynn!

Hope you're being able to have a relaxing weekend and I hope your feet and legs will forgive you for the week at camp...just tell them if they do, you'll take them to Disney World! :thumbsup2

Hmm... I would pick... the new Tiki Room, Splash and HM.

Awww... how creative to put flowers in Brooklynn's hair to look like Rapunzel. I can only imagine the pictures with Rapunzel. Adorable (: And I'm just eyeing those Mickey Waffles right now; Mickey Waffles are Love in my book :thumbsup2 Not a fan of eggs though. :/ The Apple Crisp (or whatever that is haha?) looks really good! :goodvibes Love how Brooklynn is trying to recreate the devoured Mickey ear Hahahaha

Cute character photos! (: I love how Bella is in the same position whenever the characters come by. It's like they were photoshopped in. Hopefully someday she starts adjusting to the characters. ::yes::

Can't wait to read about your M&G with Rapunzel! :mickeyjum

Another Tiki Room fan - yay!

That was Pooh's Peach Cobbler, only I think they called it Casserole instead of cobbler.

When the characters start coming near, Bella usually scoots as far as she can to the opposite side of her chair, getting every inch further away that she possibly can.

Oh I probably would have said something, or pooksma would have but they probably would still be laughing. Not at the house but the need to explain the house. I think we can all relate. :thumbsup2

Well, maybe he had a story about a crazy phone call to tell to his buddies after he got the message. If there were smiles and laughter on his side of the story and mine, then that's a good thing. We need way more of those in our lives. :goodvibes

Love the Crystal Palace pictures. Jills pleading face picture is funny:rotfl: We have all been there as parents haven't we. I recognise that face from myself pleading with Frazer over the years:rolleyes1. Brooklynn's hair looks so pretty.Hope she got to meet her Rapunzel:)

Jill has done a very convincing job of telling how sweet the characters are and how fun it is to take pictures with them. The rest of us bought into her whole story, but Bella still isn't quite sold. ;)

Mmmm, those pictures are making me so hungry....

I haven't eaten at Crystal Palace in quite some time, but everyone's pictures of it makes me want to go back.

Love Brooklynn's hair with the flowers in it. Looks very pretty. I bet you Rapunzel was impressed.

Crystal Palace is one of our favorites. We like dinner there, too.

Brooklynn was feel very princess-like with her pretty hair 'do'.

MeMom, you're so lucky your neighbor cared enough to call about your open door. That story has an old Irish saying ringing in my ears: Always do the dishes before bed, because you never know when you'll have to call a priest in the night. Or a policeman in the daytime, as it turns out. Even though neither one cares about the state of our kitchens!

I love, love the MK reflection pics. Gorgeous!

If I had to pick only three of the listed attractions, I'd pick four. Yup, I'd "cheat" by using FPs! Bcz then we could do Splash & BT Mtns in virtually the time for just one. HM & Tiki would round out my 4-pack, seeing as how I need to see them after their reno's.

Hope you do nap later, MeMom. And stay cool, all!

Well, I hate to tell ya, but your Fastpass expired. You didn't get back in your hour timeframe, so you lose. You can have that Fastpass as a souvenir for your scrapbook, ma'am. So, you now have to drop one ride or not see the new Tiki Room. Decisions, decisons, decisions!

:lmao: I think it's safe to say that they would indeed think I had gone crazy

Wouldn't they, though? :rotfl:
You really should do that one day just to see the reactions! ;)

Great update MeMom! Thanks! I guess my 3 picks would be.....HM, SplashM, and BTMRR. Hope you get some rest! We will be busy moving Sarah. I'm tired already! LOL Have a great weekend!

I'm glad I didn't have to move anything more than from one room to another within my house this weekend. I would have been of little help to anyone moving! I am walking much better this morning, I am glad to report.

Had to let you all be the first to know. It's official! We're going to WDW this trip to take DD back to school. Just made the reservations this morning. Staying at POP for 8 nights! :dance3::dance3::dance3: :woohoo::woohoo:

I am thrilled for you guys! I was hoping you would at least get a day or maybe a weekend in Disney World, but 8 days! :cheer2: I am elated! I will be back in the thick of school, so please bless me with some pictures along the way. Pretty please with sugar on top???

great update, MeMom!
The Crystal Palace breakfast looks yummy. :)

It was very good. So many choices, so little room on your plate!

Those pictures of an empty MK were just what I needed to relax!

I'm sorry the mental picture of this made me laugh so hard Alison asked me what was so funny!

Hope she heals nicely. Having a cast will give her some cool points with her friends. Kids seem to think casts are pretty neat.

You laughed at two pink jellyfish hanging in a Wilderness Lodge kitchen? I can't imagine why! :upsidedow

Lana, what are your dates? We're arriving at Pop on January 4th and if you're still there I'd love to meet up!

I'm sure that is a bit of an issue with those who regularly go in January and February, as that is the time they will refurb a lot of things. I hope you get lucky and get to make a round or two on Splash, though.

That will be great if you guys get to meet!

If you don't mind my asking...what part of Ohio are you from?

Sorry Jill and MeMom...I just realized that I could have PM'ed TCKK instead of hijacking this TR!!

No problem. We love it when people meet and make friendships here. :thumbsup2

I love breakfast foods! Bacon, Bacon, BACON!!! Yuuummmyyy!

I am a bacon person, too!
I adore a good BLT, only with just a little L and extra T. :thumbsup2

Maybe you and the hubster could have a date morning and go try out that Crystal Palace buffet.

breakfast with pooh & the gang? so sweet.

my 3 picks for the day would be jungle cruise, pirates of the caribbean, & haunted mansion! my absolute faves!!

I love a good Jungle Cruise, too. That would have been my next one.

My three choices would be Pirates, Haunted Mansion and Big Thunder Mountain. :thumbsup2

Brooklyn's hair looks so very pretty, I really love it!! I still haven't seen Tangled, I really need to remedy that.

I hope you had a relaxing day today. :goodvibes

I like Big Thunder for two reasons - because it's just the right speed and thrill factor for me, sort of medium, and because Brooklynn loves it so much.

Our kids saw Tangled at camp on movie night.

I had plenty of relaxing and worked on the house in small spurts. My kitchen looks way better than it did 24 hours ago.

Lana, what are your dates? We're arriving at Pop on January 4th and if you're still there I'd love to meet up!

I just added a day! :woohoo:
We will stay at Gaylord Palms Dec.27 to Dec.29.
Then we are then staying at POP from Dec.29 to Jan.5.

We must meet up for sure!

We have an ADR at Yak n Yetti @ 12 noon on the 4th...other than that we are free. :thumbsup2

You are as bad as our students - not following directions!
Look at that chart. Do you see Peoplemover on there?

Jen. Jen. Jen.

:sad2: :sad2: :sad2:

I love that you explained about camp to the officer! (I would have sadly felt compelled to do the same.)

My three - good thing you only have three lands - Pirates, Splash and HM...one from each land!

Love Brooklynn's hair - I think I said that before--maybe FB.

One room at a time, right? On those rare occasions that the whole house is clean at once....well, that's just a rare occasion. :upsidedow

Maybe we should have done it that way - one from each land.
Perhaps some people could have followed directions better, and others wouldn't have tried to cheat!!! :rotfl:

Hi, I don't mind you asking at all and I sent you a PM with the answer. :)

That's right, just leave us out of all of your fun. :snooty:

LOVE THE TODDLER TALK!! :) That was the sweetest video! What a great name for your TR!

So glad you are getting some DIS time in after such a long time away.

How did I know that Haunted Mansion would be in your picks? Hmmmm...

When I took a shower last night, a big piece of the scab fell off. Yuck. I don't know if that's good or bad, really. It made it seem smaller, but now it's red again. Oh well, it's not awful, and it'll be gone in a few more days. I'm just hoping it doesn't leave a permanent scar right there in the middle of my already goofy face!

I like Pirates, but I don't love it. I can take it or leave it It's a popular favorite, but I don't mind being on a number of other things to make the Pirates line shorter, either. ;)

If we can cheat???

School is not even back in session yet and you are already wanting to cheat?
Oh my, oh my! :sad2:

Twelve weeks until Disney World! That's only four sets of these guys -:dance3:.

Not bad at all. :cool1:
