Stupid question about the mugs: are they just like the refillable mugs at the resorts or are they park specific?

I will pick them up for you if you like.

Thanks for the birthday greetings, DIS friends! Sure wish I could be writing that from Disney World. Maybe after they figure everything out about our school schedule, we can plan another end of July trip. Or a normal one in June and then a short one in July....

I've been to the grocery store and just done normal household chores today. No one is here right now but me, but the house will be full tomorrow. No Disney-themed party for me, but I have a poster with Mickey and Minnie on it and some school odds and ends, since we are also celebrating Brooklynn going to Kindergarten.

Brooklynn called and sang Happy Birthday earlier. If Bella was singing, I couldn't hear her. Jill said she was eating chicken. Eating chicken is far more important in her world.

I youtubed a few Disney videos this morning jsut to pretend I was there for a little bit. I do have a friend who will be there tomorrow - Magic Kingdom one day only - and she said she would send me a picture.

The mugs you get at the park kiosks are not refillable. They are just nice souvenirs to take home.

Hope you guys are all having a great weekend! Summer, in terms of a Middle Tennessee teacher's schedule, is coming to a close all too soon. I have my sights set on fall break already, but we'll have a lot of busy weeks between now and then.

Some of you are on the verge of leaving for your trips. I'm really counting on you guys for awesome pictures and updates to keep the magic going until mid October. If I have some time later this evening or early tomorrow, I'll do another update. If not, it might be Monday.

I will have a good weekend. All my kids will be here tomorrow. I've got to figure out if I'm going to grill hamburgers or cook a meal or what.

Also, my belated frozen treat vote. For me, it depends. Mickey bar is my all-time fave, but it's too rich on a hot day like today. So then I'd choose the Triple Blast. Although, like Bella, I will eat anything you hand me!
DIS Mom Tip: For ice cream treats, poke the stick through the staw hole "x" in a plastic to-go cup lid, upside-down to catch drips & chocolate chunks. Then wrap a napkin around the stick to catch any sneaky drips.

I've got a neighbor that's going in October as well but can't remember her dates. They're going on the Dream as well as doing parks and the Halloween party. They're DD doesn't know about the trip and I've been worried I'd let it slip!

I did a search on them today for prices. There are already some on eBay! With the prices I was seeing I can see why Jill decided to put them back!

Summer, in terms of a Middle Tennessee teacher's schedule, is coming to a close all too soon.

I'm so glad I still have a full month! I start college on August 29th

We're leaving for Vermont in 2 weeks! We weren't sure if we'd be able to leave on time because of my mom's surgery, but she's definitely feeling up to it. It's a really relaxing vacation, so she'll be fine. Two weeks from now she'll be so bored after being home for a month The only issue is the 5 hour drive, but I'm planning on doing most of it, or all of it if I have to. My mom hasn't driven since her surgery but the doctor said she could start driving 2 weeks after the surgery(which would've been yesterday). Depending on how she's feeling we might switch off a few times during the drive. That's still two weeks from now so we'll just see how she feels then. We'd be in trouble if I hadn't gotten my license last year

They are park specific. MK had the Teacups, Hollywood had R&RC and Tower of Terror, and AK had Everest. Never saw any at Epcot.

Your mom will very much enjoy the Vermont trip. My preacher's wife has relatives there, and they go to visit once or twice a year. He always comes back telling about how beautiful it is.

I am glad to hear that Naveen is still hanging around in the afternoons. I've been waiting for him to call me all day, but I guess that explains why I haven't heard from him.

No cake today, but I did make one to be frosted and sprinkled with Mickey sprinkles tomorrow. I'm also making a cheesecake. I'll probably tie-dye it. I have the burgers patted out and the pasta salad is made. Tomorrow I'll do the beans. Can't wait to see my precious girls and have all my kids under one roof.
