Hey MeMom! Just got caught up. I've been really busy this week. Got Sarah all moved and glad it's over! (Until she figures out where she wants to put down permanent roots)LOL
I guess I'll take the Ice Cream sandwich. Maybe I'll get to find out in October. Sarah and I are still planning our trip, but her work schedule is so crazy right now. They are very short staffed and really are working her to much. She loves helping bring those babies into the world but she is actively looking for another nursing job that will allow her time for a life too.
And in case I don't make in on the Dis tomorrow....

The new HM queue looks amazing! I'm excited to see it for myself. Before the queue was updated I actually found the original "ring" by accident. I was pretty excited.

WHY!? WHY!? WHY!? Why are they taking Flynn away? I seriously think Disney has a personal vendetta against all my favorite characters. First my Captain Jack, then they do away with the showboat jubilee and my darling Dr.Facilier ( I know he is at the Mix and Mingle but it is not the same ), and now Flynn? Just my luck.... All i have left is Ariel and Stitch. But I'm sure Stitch will get the boot soon too.

I wonder if any kid has thrown trash inside PUSH? Or if Disney already put trash in PUSH to enhance the experience?

I have never been interested in the Move It, Shake It, Celebrate It parade until I saw that video! I'm going to find that CM and ask her to sign my autograph book!

And finally ( sorry for the lengthy reply, I'm long winded ) I would choose the strawberry bar! I had a bad experience with a mickey bar on a hot AK day and while in the process of eating it, one side of mickey's face fell off! I'm sorry for anyone who stepped in my chocolaty mess and to the CM who had to clean it off the pavement

Thanks for the nice words, MeMom. I am gathering info for adoption; I am thinking of doing it on my own, as there's no Mr. DWGal I was a mess if emotions & throwing myself a pity party, so thanks for your kindness.

Adoption is a beautiful way to build a family. I knew I wanted to adopt way back when I was a teenager. No pity party for you - there are too many children waiting for homes for you to have time for that! You just set your sights on the day you'll have to be buying two or three Mickey bars - and be sure you have plenty of baby wiped with you. Those things can be a mess for kids!

Thank you for the window shopping; I like preshopping before our trip. I could spend a day just wondering through the stores!

The tea cup mug is adorable and I love the tote but for 42.95

I would have to choose the pinapple bar.

That bag was a little pricey, and the other was more of a shopping bag than a carrying around bag. I still feel like I have seen something in between, but I guess I'm dreaming, because I never saw it on this trip.

One vote for a pineapple bar. Very refreshing, I would think, on a hot Magic Kingdom day.

That CM is awesome! Now that looks like someone who loves their job!

The Mickey bar makes me feel like I'm really at WDW, but I would really love the Mickey Ice Cream Sandwich too.

I wish I had a fun job. Teaching used to be fun, and occasionally it still is, but the not fun is outweighing the fun these days.

I've never seen the Mickey/Minnie house playsets. I must buy them for DD in Sept.

The CM video made me smile. It's refreshing to see someone who loves their job.

Hard choice on the treat but I would have to choose the Pinapple juice bar w/ the Mickey sandwich a very close second.

We had not seen the playsets, either. Jill bought them, but then when she reviewed all of her purchases and the costs, she took them back. It's not that she didn't like them, but the girls just already have so much stuff and so many little sets of things with parts and pieces. They are cute, but she did the right thing in taking them back in her case.

I watched the video of the CM and she definitely put a smile on my face!

We have seen her at least twice that I can recall. She's very fun to watch.

I love the MK mugs! They are so fun with all the characters in the teacups! I wish they had a design like that for the resorts.

I also loved the shopping photos. The set of glasses featuring the attractions was really cool. It must be new because I didn't see them in May, I hope they stick around, because I could definitely find a place for them in my cabinets!

It was me who tried to give you directions to the ring in the HM queue. I'm sorry you weren't able to find it, I've never been great with directions My friend Steve knew where it was and pointed it out to me, or I wouldn't have been able to find it. Here is a photo for those that are interested

Mystery solved. I knew someone had given me directions and even provided a picture. I will find it eventually, although it may take someone actually pointing it out to me. Maybe some of the folks going soon will show me step-by-step in pictures, and I'll do better next time. I am glad you showed the picture again for those who are going soon. Just looking at the picture again helps, because I did not remember that it was right at one of the jut out spots. That might have helped.

Those mugs were cute. We got others in Hollywood and Animal Kingdom, but I never did look for them in Epcot. I remembered on the way home that we hadn't gotten one from there.

Love the shopping pictures and those mugs are really neat. But I have to say my favorite is the dancing CM video you gave us the link for. She is awesome! Do you know her name? I really must look for her.

I don't know the CM's name, but we have seen her in person, and she is a lot of fun to watch.

You know, that was the popular favorite among the teenagers that were in front of me. A bunch of them got those. Maybe they're easier to handle (melting-wise the mess would be in the container) or easier to share - or maybe they're just really good. I have not had them.

As for ice cream, I think I'd probably have to go with the strawberry fruit bar. I'm not a huge ice cream person so I love those!

That would be my choice, too. And you know what, you can have a little touch of Disney at home, because you can buy those in stores back at home. Once or twice a year, I will buy a box, and when I eat one, I am always transported back to Animal Kingdom, because that's usually where I buy one.

Mine would defiitely be a Mickey premium ice cream! Can't go to the world and not have one of those.

That is the popular favorite. That chocolate coating is a little too thick for me, though. It's good, but it is so thick and so rich - too much for me - but I'm sure that is what most people do like about it!

My MIL had at least one each day on our last trip!

I love the photopass photographer taking extra pics. And you know what I never noticed before? The second floor over the Plaza Restaurant and how it bows out just before the Noodle Station/bathrooms. I'll have to be more observant!

Breakfast looks yummy and the Rapunzel meet was fabulous...love the flowers in Brook's hair!

Let's see if I had to pick just three rides...it would be Pirates, Splash and Big Thunder. Hard choice though.

Disney is crazy. I could rent a 5 bedroom, 5 bath house with my own pool and game room for two nights for that price one mile from AK. Guess I am still staying off property next summer yet again

Yes, the Animation Suite prices are a little tough to swallow, aren't they? We'll try them out, for sure, but we'll do it on a value season or with a code, or we'll just wait until the Little Mermaid section is open and try a regular room. I really do like what they are doing with all of the themes out in the courtyards, so I will be visiting to take pictures as soon as they are allowing people over there.

Mickey Bar for me too. That fabric 40th tote is the one I was looking for. They have it on disney shopping and I just bought it when then had the 20% off sale. Still waiting for it to arrive!! Which place did you buy the teacup mugs from. I will have to pick those up!

The Teacup mugs were at the kiosk at the hub. If you are facing the castle, it's the one on the left as you go into the circle.

Loved the shopping photos. I really want something 40th anniversary but I believe I may end up with a pin. I couldn't make up my mind this summer so I'll have to decide in October.

I got a mug but I believe it was either at DHS or Epcot. I got it because the top and handle were purple which is my favorite color. Then I got a popcorn bucket with purple top and handle too! I was in heaven!

I got a pin, too. I got the Mickey ears hat one. I was going to get a hat, and I guess I still might in October, if they still have them, but I decided on the pin for now. Dang money (or lack of it) always dictates my purchases!

The Hollywood mug was brought home for Drew. It had Rock n Roller Coaster and maybe Tower of Terror on it. I got AK mugs for Trent and Jarvis, and they had Expedition Everest. I never saw the Epcot choice, if there was one.

I want that HM glass...wow so cool! I'm going to have to see if I can find those come October!!!!

Nice to see you following the rules, 'Miss Jolt'. The Mickey bars are good, but I can only eat about one ear's worth. They are really thick, and the chocolate coating is also thick and very rich.

I would have chosen the strawberry bar. The others would probably have gone with one of the chocolate choices, I'm guessing. I would have Jill ask the girls, but it might cause issues. Brooklynn would understand the just pretending, but Bella would think she should be getting a popsicle right then.

That's great the CMs started dancing. I love when the CMs seemingly forget about their jobs and just go all out to add a little touch of pixie dust. Love the video of your other CM friend though. Maybe that'll be a reason to go see that parade

Maybe it's just when you go that you miss the tour groups. We go in the summer, so they are always there. We really have had no issues with them, except for one time on a bus they were doing all the chanting and cheering, and it got old fast. For the most part, they're there to have a good time, and they're just teenagers. I'm sure groups of teenagers from any place get obnoxious now and then when they are out doing something like this. They just get excited and a little full of themselves, and of course the peer pressure to act 'cool' comes into play, and they do things they might not do otherwise. Really, the worst thing about the groups is if you just happen to get beat out by them in a line or behind one of their guides is collecting Fastpasses.

If you can see the parade right down by the barber shop, she'll really put on a show right at the end, as it goes in.

They were having definite language barrier issues. That was slowing things down. Finally, one of the other two CM's that were stocking came to help and it sped things up a little.

We've had a big hunk of chocolate fall off of those bars, too. Once it was right onto Brooklynn's outfit. Big mess!

Thank you. Today looks to be fairly normal. Household chores and grocery shopping are on the list. I need to go find some very large google eyes for the Mr. Ray I made for my classroom. I can put construction paper eyes on, but I think he'd look cuter with the fun eyes, if I can find them big enough. I think my birthday fun will come tomorrow when my sweet girls get here.

I checked and my mug was from DHS because it has Tower of Terror on it and Mickey welcoming me to Hollywood. My popcorn bucket was from Epcot. It has the Fab 5 holding hands watching Illuminations from World Showcase. I'm going to check if they have a mug too because it is very cute!

I think I've mentioned before that my SIL is a teacher. She was complaining about how all the fun had been taken out of teaching, so this year when a full time pre-k position opened up, she jumped at it. She knows she'll have challenges with little ones, but she's very excited to get to teach in a 'fun' way again without having to worry about all the standards and testing that have sucked the creativity out of her classroom.
