Mingos in the Watah! What in the Wuhld?

Hmmmm, did you look at breakfast at Akershus? I can't remember the cost of it but the food was much better for little guests than the other meals...

I'll have some caramel corn please!

I need to remember to bring along some gallon zip-locks so I can bring some of that yummy goodness home for Mr. Pouter...

I've not been to WDW since the caramel shop opened and I can't wait to grab some goodies from there! With all the things on my list that I want to eat I'll probably gain 50 lbs in 5 days

I like the chocolate covered strawberries!!!
Yummy!!

I need to try the caramel popcorn in Dec. (81 days for me and you guys will be there too!!!) I forgot to try it last time.
Poor Marc!!!!!
Yay for single digits for you guys!!! I can't wait to follow along on fb!!! Who all is going? Can't wait to see pics of the big Dis meet!!

I got a bag last time, and it was very, very good. I nibbled at it at home until it got stale, and then I threw the rest out. I should have thought to put it in the freezer so that I could have kept nibbling for a few months.

I REALLY want the school bread this time around. I just never get it; we always seem to have JUST eaten or are getting ready for a big meal every time I'm in Epcot. I'll have to remedy that situation. :thumbsup2

You got some GREAT pictures!! The ones in China are especially breathtaking.

It will be interesting to see what country they pick next for the World Showcase. If I were a betting person, I would wager on Australia or Brazil. Only because those seem to be two distinct cultures they don't already have on World Showcase.

I got my Lion King pre-order in the mail today. I had baby Nate for a few hours after work, so he and I watched it together. He was actually really interested in the pictures on the screen; he had this really perplexed look on his face for most of the movie. "The most" meaning the first 10 minutes before he fell asleep. :rotfl:

Have a great Friday!!

Not only do I like schoolbread, it is also one of the cheaper snacks, and I am most often paying out of pocket. It is very filling - hard to eat the whole thing. I do want to try other things, though, so I've been paying more money for different snacks lately, just so I can be a good Disney reporter.

I got a book about the Chinese tomb warriors at Brooklynn's book fair. I haven't taken time to read it yet, but I am looking forward to delving into it soon.

WDW certainly has a huge Brazilian following. I'd love to see several more countries added. Wouldn't that be exciting? :cool1:

I picked up Lion King earlier this week. Maybe I can watch it with the girls this weekend. They're coming tonight.

Breakfast is probably what we would do, because the girls both like breakfast foods.

Jill makes fun of me and my stash of assorted sizes of ziplock bags. ;)

Chocolate-covered strawberries are one of my favorite snacks. ::yes::

Speaking of DIS meets: I am old of brain and overwhelmed of schedule, so everybody please tell me one more time when and where we are supposed to be meeting you on this trip.

And don't be shy about reminding me of your real and DIS name when we meet, because I am seriously not good at remembering things other than school nonsense right now.

I know we have the big meet at the front of Magic Kingdom at 6 on Sunday, so everyone who will be there, chime in on that one. Then I have a couple of other meets, so remind me now........

and maybe one more time next week. ;)

Have a great day!

That cloudberry horn does look good! I haven't gotten anything from the new caramel shop, but that dark chocolate sea salt caramel sounds REALLY good.

I have never seen the gingerbread viking helmets before. I would have chosen the cloudberry horn, too, though.

I have my napkin ready for the caramel shop! :thumbsup2

I really love your artistic cloudberry horn photo. I think Disney should hire you to take pictures of their food in natural settings. ;)

I never got the time and place of the big 'ol DIS Meet, and I would love to meet you all in front of the Magic Kingdom, but we have a 5:45 ADR at Boma, which I don't want to miss.:goodvibes

I will PM you with my contact information, maybe we could meet another time.

I wasn't sure on the time so I'm glad you posted this - I'll be there :thumbsup2 I'll be the one wearing........oh wait! I'm not supposed to tell :rolleyes1

Do you know it has been forever since I have eaten at a Disney bakery...now the German Caramel shop well that's a whole different story! Me and the caramel corn well we're old friends and we will be reacquainted soon enough!!!

Our trip is getting so close!! Can't wait!!! I'll also be waiting to meet you in front of MK at 6pm...but I can't tell you what I'll be wearing either LOL!

That was me on the CM photos! That's my plan this time anyway. I'm terrible about getting distracted and forgetting about it though.

I can't believe you didn't go in the caramel shop! I had my napkin ready as soon as I saw the sign and then you just left me hanging like that! :rotfl:

We've been to Akershus for breakfast and it was very very good. We are going back this time too. I think it is a little more expensive b/c you get a photo package included with your meal. You get a 8x10 and two smaller prints in a decorative folder I believe. I think if you want a princess meal, it beats CRT any day for food quality and price.

You've got a trip knocking on the door!!! :wizard: I won't get to talk with you for about 3 weeks since your trip is right before mine. By the time you get back, I'll just be leaving. I'm going to be missing this place by the time I get home!

I also didn't know a time had been selected; thanks for posting. Assume when we say "outside" we mean all the way outside the turnstiles? Any specific spot? As many times as I have been, can't quite picture it but am sure I will find you. Can't wait. :goodvibes

I really want to try a cloudberry horn. And the caramel shop...my mom and I are SO excited to check that out! I have a feeling we'll have to stop there whenever we are in WS.

Mmmm, look at all of those goodies! I think I would have chosen the cream puff. In fact, I have had one before and they were GOOD. :)

Meet you back at the caramel shop MeMom! Is it pronounced car-a-mel or car-mel in your opinion? We have this discussion in our house often. ha! ;)

When Paige turned 3 we had breakfast at Akershus and they gave her a viking cookie that said Happy Birthday in Norwegian. We really enjoyed the food there and again on this last trip in March we had dinner there. This time each birthday girl got a card signed by the princesses and a cupcake.

I'd like to enjoy some of those snacks right about now - where's my caramel corn???

<---------That's us!

Memom y'all should try Akershus for breakfast sometime. The food is really good and the princessess are alot of fun. Even my little boy liked eating there.

Oh why must you taunt me with the Norway Bakery! Note to self: Must get Schoolbread AND Cloudberry horn on next trip :thumbsup2 The Caramel shop looks like a good place to stop for a snack too lol

They really should change the African Outpost into a country. I propose Ireland! Any seconds? ;) (If the Brazil pavilion is true, Disney will be receiving a STRONGLY worded letter from me ::yes::)

Can't wait to read more! :mickeyjum

Glad to hear you are feeling better MeMom.

Happy belated birthday Jill!! Hope it was a good one!

You are getting so close now!! I cannot believe we are close also. I have been wanting to go in Oct for years and it is finally going to happen!

I am so envious of all your Dismeets. Cannot wait to hear all about it!

Have a good weekend. It is supposed to be in the 80's here this weekend.

Just in case you forgot who I was...
I'm Anita  and I'll be there with Megan, Jen, Michelle and Jennifer. I hope you recognize us.... We will see you on Sunday before the party and hopefully more...
