Mingos in the Watah! What in the Wuhld?

Well once again I feel very far behind!

- Bella was soooo cute with the characters! It's so great to see that she's getting better with them

- Jill, you were right to say something to that woman! It can get really aggrevating when people are rude in Disney!! Also....
HAPPY BIRTHDAY JILL!!!!:bday:

-MeMom, Hope you feel better soon! You guys leave for your trip soon and you can't be sick in Disney!!!

2 Weeks from today I will be back in my happy place!! I'm excited beyond words!!! MeMom, not sure what we're going to be doing on the 19th. My flight gets in around 10am and I know at some point we have to go to Pop to drop off my luggage, and we have dinner ADRs at Jiko at 5:30. Other than that we don't have any plans yet. I'll PM you my cell phone # and hopefully we can cross paths before you have to get on ME.

Happy Birthday, Jill!!

Glad you are feeling better today Caren!! I know you must be getting excited about your trip. It is killing me to go back. Now that I have DVC and an annual pass, I think about going all the time.:lmao: Loved seeing Mexico today. I love the Donald Ride. I listened to Three Caballeros this morning on the way to work.

P.S. Sent you a PM

I enjoyed the Mexican boat ride. My husband, son, and I were talking about that ride yesterday while we were eating at a mexican restuarant. We were wishing we were in Epcot.

Happy Birthday Jill! I hope you are still on vacation today.

I don't think we have been on the Mexico Small World since our first trip. Nice pics!

Happy Birthday Jill!

happy birthday jill!party:

it's my birthday, too! all the coolest kids were born in october! :rolleyes1

once again, loving the report. i've been going back to the older reports as well... it's so wild to watch your two little gals grow up.

my niece is almost 8 months already! :scared1: i'm excited to share the :wizard: with her just as you've done with all your girls!

keep up the good work! and stay healthy!

Oh, I love the Mexico Pavilion. Great pictures of the Gran Fiesta Tour! The Three Caballeros :goodvibes Awww yeah!

Happy Birthday Jill! (:

Happy Birthday Jill!!

Hope you had a GREAT birthday and lots of pixie dust today!!party::bday:party:

Loved our time in Mexico. I hope you are feeling better. Did you get my card yet? Lexi decorated the envelope. :cutie: Can you let me know when you get it?
Thank you so much.

Happy birthday Jill!!!! :yay::yay::yay: Hope you have a wonderful day!!

Thank you for starting the day in the Mexico pavilion, I am very happy to pretend to be browsing the little stands right now!

Pretend shopping is fun - and safe. :thumbsup2

HAPPY BIRTHDAY JILL!:cake: I wish next week you could be at Pop with MeMom and Brooklynn and we could celebrate our birthday's together! Mine is Halloween. So it would be right in between our birthdays. I hate I'll miss you and Bella, but maybe there will be a Nashville meet soon. Or better yet maybe the New Years meet. (if I can swing it) Anyway have a great day!

When Opry Mills opens back up, we need to have a mega-meet there. The last I heard, Rainforest Cafe was committed to coming back, so we could eat there.

The zebra with the face freaks me out, too!

I love that inside of that place. It's so interesting and there are so many unique things. My mom and I can spend a lot of time in there.

Happy birthday, Jill!

Yes, that is a good place to buy someone who is not a Disney person a unique souvenir. I think the piggy banks are cute, and I look at them every time, but I never have bought one. They wouldn't really fit with any of my decor, but I still think they're cute.

First of all HAPPY BIRTHDAY Jill!!! Hope you have a great one!!!!!

Caren, hope you awoke feeling much better this morning!!! Like you said at least you are taking care of it now instead of on your trip!!! Are you single digit dancing yet?!?!?!

I thought of you this weekend while I was in DC!! They had sea turtle stuff everywhere in the Museum of Natural History, so I took pics!!!! The Seas at Disney are so awesome!!! Love that part of the park, just never spend enough time there LOL!!!

Well hope you have a great Wednesday! I'm here late tonight with tutoring but should be fun!!!

I am almost back to normal. Still have the congestion, but the pressure is subsiding. My assistant principal said she wasn't feeling well yesterday, and I told her I hoped she wasn't in for the same ride I just went on.

I too, am a lover of sea turtles! Not to get too personal, but I have a small tattoo of one on my back. I think they are very awesome creatures.:goodvibes

Oh, and I hope that a certain someone has:

A VERY HAPPY BIRTHDAY!! MAKE IT A GREAT ONE JILL!

No tattoos for me. I'll be happy with sea turtle books and plastic sea turtles for my classroom!

Happy Birthday, Jill!!! I hope you have a FABULOUS day!!

I'm glad you're feeling better, MeMom!

Well, I am changing my 2012 trip dates. :) I'll have to update my PTR. To make a LONG story short, I'm going in January with my brother & his girlfriend. I get more Disney days & I'll still have some solo time, too. I'll be there Jan 6-15. :)

I think changing your plans to get more Disney time is a good idea. :thumbsup2 Plus, it will be much less crowded than it will be during Christmas to NYE week. We will miss your presence at the big bash, though.

:bday: JILL!! I hope you have a magical day! I even baked you a cake! It's not as cool and fancy as the ones you make, but...
:cake:
party:

Hope you're feeling better MeMom!
Those animals with faces like humans are a bit creepy! The sea turtle, however, is not.

Cake! :woohoo:
I am eating grapes for breakfast right now, but save my piece of cake for my planning time, and I will eat it then. :thumbsup2

Happy Birthday Jill!!!!

I'm DISing from school. But don't worry, I'm not in class yet :thumbsup2 Yesterday I learned my lesson for not bringing my laptop to school. The fire alarm went off 15 minutes into my first class and my professor just said he was cancelling the rest of the class. Well that was great except for the fact that this happened at 10:15 and I had another class at 2  It would've been a waste of gas to go home and come back. Plus I don't think I would've had enough will power to make myself come back for math So I stayed on campus with nothing to do for 4 hours I did have some homework which ended up taking me longer than I thought. But I wish I had brought my laptop! Anyway, I'm off to class!

No empty library computers for you? I don't know what we did before we had laptops that we could take everywhere we go. Since I got my own laptop, I hardly ever turn the TV on any more. I have Disney music or gospel music or a sermon playing in the background almost constantly.

Yeah, I would have been like you - if I had gone home, it would have been really hard to make myself go back to school!

Hey Memom it has been a long time since I posted due to a busy work and school schedule! I can tell you one things for sure I am sooo excited that I leave in 8 days woooohoooo!!!!!!!!! I am looking forward to meeting you and Brooklynn if that is still ok with you of course!!!! :yay: We are staying at Caribbean Beach this time!!!! Hope you have a fantastic rest of the week at school!!!

HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO JILL!!!!!!!!:banana::banana::cheer2::mickeyjum:tink:

Yes, we can plan to meet. What about the big meet in front of Magic Kingdom on Sunday at 6? Are you coming to that?

Eek MeMom! The zebra with the face creeps me out a little too. I guess I just don't appreciate good art. Ha!

Happy Birthday Jill! I hope your day is magical. :goodvibes

I want my zebras to look a little more zebra-ish.

I like the way they look in a box from the Mara cooler, too. ;)

Our only plans for the last day are to go to Magic Kingdom and then go back to Pop to the kiddie pool so the girls can move around a lot before getting on the plane. It shouldn't be a problem for us to meet somewhere at or between those two spots.

Happy Birthday, Jill!!

You have the Disney fever pretty badly right now, don't you?
Those annual passes do not give you any mercy. They aggravate you constantly to be used. ;)

I enjoyed the Mexican boat ride. My husband, son, and I were talking about that ride yesterday while we were eating at a mexican restuarant. We were wishing we were in Epcot.

Happy Birthday Jill! I hope you are still on vacation today.

We make Disney references whenever we are anywhere that has a remote relationship to anything Disney.

Jill went back to work. She said the beach was fun for a long weekend, but they had done all they wanted to do, and she didn't want to use any more vacation days doing nothing.

I don't think we have been on the Mexico Small World since our first trip. Nice pics!

Happy Birthday Jill!

Time for another Mexico trip, then.
Everything was blurry. Maybe I'll video next time. I keep hearing about a flip phone. Do those go straigh to Facebook, and then can you load them on photobucket or something, as well?

Trent found something that said October 5th was the most common birthday in America, so he told Jill she wasn't really that special. :rotfl:

Not true, though - you are both very special! :goodvibes

Brooklynn has surely changes since her first trip at ten months, and Bella has gained a couple of pounds and talks all the time. :upsidedow

Oh, I love the Mexico Pavilion. Great pictures of the Gran Fiesta Tour! The Three Caballeros :goodvibes Awww yeah!

Happy Birthday Jill! (:

party:

My Gran Fiesta Tour souvenir is a coaster which is downstairs on an end table by the couch. I 'needed' something from that pavilion, but nothing really fit, so I went with something practical that didn't invade the OKW theme, and the Three Caballeros drink coaster did the trick. I think of being in Epcot every time I put a drink on it. :)

Happy Birthday Jill!! :goodvibes

Happy Birthday Jill:cheer2::yay:

Maybe she'll have a chance to get on here today. When I talked to her last ngiht, they were taking the rental car back after work and then going to get some dinner, so I know they got in too late for her to have the energy to DIS.

Loved our time in Mexico. I hope you are feeling better. Did you get my card yet? Lexi decorated the envelope. :cutie: Can you let me know when you get it?
Thank you so much.

I haven't gotten it yet, but I will look for a fun envelope. :) We were glad to be able to send you some Disney happiness.

Happy Belated Birthday, Jill!

I was reading an article yesterday about how October 5th is the most popular day for birthdays and the theory goes that is because it's 9 months after New Year's Eve. I thought that was interesting. The least popular day for Birthdays is May 22nd and there is no theory for that one. :rotfl2:

I think some of the new cameras come with software that allows you to directly upload from the camera; I think you need to use a computer though.

Nope. I looked but they were all taken. I'm never leaving my laptop at home again :rotfl:

My poor mom had to take me back and forth to school today. My check engine light came on and I didn't want to risk breaking down in the middle of the city or on the highway  So she worked from home and drove me. I was originally gonna drive her car to school while she stayed home but I woke up with a nasty headache and didn't really feel up to driving. I ended up skipping my first class and went back to sleep but I had a quiz in my second one so I had to go. Then when we got home we took my car to the shop. I don't have class again until Tuesday afternoon :worship:

That is very interesting. I would have to think back to NYE 30 years ago, but my brain is too old for that, so I'll just take your word for it.

I am going to do some research. :thumbsup2

Sorry you aren't feeling well. I think I was better yesterday than today, actually. I felt better, but today I feel a little more sluggish. Probably from just trying to do too much too quickly. At least my throat is not hurting. I was worried that I might have strep, but it's getting better, not worse, so that's good. :)

Enjoy your weekend!

I realized as I skimmed through these pictures that this was one of the times that Jill's bunch went on back to the room (after Mexico) and I went on to do some picture-taking.

After Mexico comes Norway, where people come seeking adventure, but more often find beauty and charm. :)

I usually go in search of something along these lines.

I like to take pictures of cast members in their 'native' clothing to share with my kids at school. These nice cast members were very happy to let me take a picture in their costumes. Too bad I didn't take a good picture. Maybe I can try again soon. Someone said they let their kids get a picture with costumed CM's, and that might be a fun thing for Brooklynn to do when we go. She could share the pictures with her kindergarten class.

I call this one Cloudberry Horn in Front of a Waterfall.

DisneySummer20112ndset648.jpg

I just thought it was a good name for it. ;)

That was my first Cloudberry Horn, and it was good.

I have not been here.

DisneySummer20112ndset652.jpg

Jill, John, and Brooklynn went once, and they liked it. I have checked out the menu. It looks kind of expensive, though. I thought about booking it for this trip so that Kay's granddaughter could be sure to see the Princesses, but I decided we'd see them out in the parks for no extra cost.

And Chinese things, I guess.

Next time, we may go in here.

DisneySummer20112ndset662.jpg

Go get a napkin and be thinking about what you might want. I'll meet you at the entrance tomorrow evening.

I've not been to WDW since the caramel shop opened and I can't wait to grab some goodies from there! With all the things on my list that I want to eat I'll probably gain 50 lbs in 5 days

I REALLY want the school bread this time around. I just never get it; we always seem to have JUST eaten or are getting ready for a big meal every time I'm in Epcot. I'll have to remedy that situation. :thumbsup2

You got some GREAT pictures!! The ones in China are especially breathtaking.

It will be interesting to see what country they pick next for the World Showcase. If I were a betting person, I would wager on Australia or Brazil. Only because those seem to be two distinct cultures they don't already have on World Showcase.

I got my Lion King pre-order in the mail today. I had baby Nate for a few hours after work, so he and I watched it together. He was actually really interested in the pictures on the screen; he had this really perplexed look on his face for most of the movie. "The most" meaning the first 10 minutes before he fell asleep. :rotfl:

Have a great Friday!!
