Milkshakes on the DDP

Hi,

I'm trying to figure out that if at places like Whispering Canyon, Sci-Fi, and 50s if you can get a milkshake with your meal and it be included as the dessert portion on the meal.

Not sure about the other restaurants you'd listed, but at last August I was able to do exactly this at 50's Prime Time

I have ordered them as a drink on the ddp at 50s PT and Sci Fi. I also had a virgin pina colada at Ohana, but they thought I would have to pay for it, but the plan accepted it as a beverage.

At Sci-Fi you can get it as a beverage or as a dessert, so that's 2 if you are on the DP

We've milkshakes as drinks at WCC and as a drink and dessert at 50s.

Milkshakes at WCC is bottomless(All you care to enjoy) so you'll be having it for dessert too

Never knew u could substitute a soda for a milkshake at certain restaurants with the DDP. Does anyone know if u can do this at T-Rex? If so that would be awesome. If not thats cool too.

If I remember correctly, the smoothie and milkshake were not included as a drink on the dining plan, but I was allowed to get the Strawberry-asaurus Lemonade with only one refill. It also depends on your server too. Hopefully things might change, if or when the rumors about the dining plan becomes official.
