Military members and FL resident passes

Good morning all! I've posted about this before, but I try to do it every now and then, just to remind all of you military members out there that if you are a legal resident of FL, you are eligible for the FL resident seasonal, annual, and Play 4 passes, as well as any resort discounts that may be available for FL residents. The discount also applies to any minor children, but NOT TO SPOUSES, unless the spouse also has a FL ID. Hope this helps someone save a little bit of money. Have a great day everyone!

I was just wondering if you've been able to give them your address out of state to get the FL Discounts. Every time we get APs or use a FL discount, they will give us the discount because we have FL driver's licenses & voters registration cards, but the CM always wants a FL address. Luckily I have family in Florida, so I use their mailing address, but I would rather use my own address.

I have called Disney several times about this, but have never gotten a good answer from them.

Debbie, not answering your question but if you call SOG and get the overflow rates to Disney resorts, they are often as good or better than the FL rates. And you can purchase your tickets and FL annual or seasonal passes at SOG even when staying at the Disney resorts.
Don't know they answer to the other since we are in FL now(for good!) and are FL residents.

When I went, I only had to show my FL driver's license, and it had my Alabama address on it, and there was no problem at all. I did, however, have my voter ID with me, which has the address of where I lived when I was in St. Petersburg, prior to entering the military. The Shades of Green overflow rates are great, but it is nice to have a backup, in case FL resident rates are better. Also, you can not buy FL resident passes at Shades of Green unless you have the required FL identification.
